A group of friends having a good idea and deciding to just try it out: For a fixed price a month you get a Swapfiets bicycle and we ensure your Swapfiets bicycle always works. It turned out to be a great concept. After a period of fixing up bikes ourselves, Swapfiets has now arrived at a point where it has designed its own bicycle and started spreading out the service to a growing number of cities. Holmestrand Skitunnel AS (HST) er etablert for å bygge om veitunnelen i Holmestrand til helårs skianlegg for langrenn, skiskyting og paraidrett. Det er gjennomført en mulighetsstudie under ledelse av Olafsen Prosjektadministrasjon AS i Sande, Senter for Idrettsanlegg og Teknologi (SIAT) ved NTNU i Trondheim og  Terje Grønmo Arkitekter AS i Oslo, i et nært samarbeid med Vestfold Fylkeskommune som eier tunnelen. Det er inngått i alt syv intensjonavstaler med lokale og nasjonale bedrifter om det videre arbeidet. Målet er å ta anlegget i bruk i 2019.
