Videolink

Videolink er en unikt hightech kommunikationsystem til lowtech brugere - en slags ”Facetime for Oldies” via TV. Vi ønsker at styrke kontakten mellem generationerne i familien og inkludere eks. ældre familiemedlemmer i deres familie via brug af moderne bruger- og ældrevenlig kommunikations-teknologi. Vores mission er ganske enkelt at fjerne afsavn og minimere ensomheden. Vi har udviklet et helt unikt kommunikations-værktøj (som rent faktisk er en verdensnyhed), der muliggør, at eks. en beboer på et plejehjem, kan kommunikere med sine pårørende via videotale ved brug af eget TV. Og dette helt uden brug af nogen form for tastatur eller fjernbetjening. Det hele foregår automatisk ved, at "den som kalder op” (eks. en pårørende) modtager en SMS på ens smartphone, iPad eller PC, og så klikker vedkommende på dette link, og så starter modtagerens TV automatisk op, og ”videolink samtalen” kan begynde. Når eks. den pårørende "afslutter" videosamtalen, så slukker modtagerens TV helt automatisk igen (eller skifter helt automatisk tilbage til flow TV igen). Ideen opstod bl.a. ved, at vi har oplevet meget "ensomhed" på bl.a. plejehjem, hvor manglende kontakt til de pårørende syntes at påvirke beboernes livskvalitet. Desuden har vi et ønske om "at skabe lidt mere liv" hos den ældre del af befolkningen, som måske ikke er helt så teknologivante som gennemsnittet af befolkningen. Mange har et uopdaget behov for at holde deres familierelationer vedlige, men er måske "teknologi-skræmte", "teknologiske analfabeter", eller mangler motoriske færdigheder, er demente mm. og derfor måske har svært ved at kunne håndtere en iPad eller en smartphone. Det kan vi løse med Videolink, som er utroligt simpelt at anvende og desuden ikke kræver nogen fysisk interageren hos modtageren af videokaldet. Med Videolink, vil vi forbinde familier igen, som f.eks. pga alderdom, sygsom, demens etc. er blevet adskilt fra deres familier f.eks. ved at et ældre familiemedlem er flyttet på plejehjem, og dermed måske geografisk er distanceret fra deres familier. Desuden har den igangværende COVID-19 situation vanskeliggjort besøg på eks. plejehjem. Med Videolink håber vi dermed at kunne øget livskvaliteten og reducere ensomhed og afsavn for familier generelt. Vi giver de ældre borgere, som har skabt vores samfund, "en del af deres liv tilbage".

At Beauty Boosters we want to make the beauty industry more flexible and convenient for both beauty professionals and consumers. We are two founders, Maria and Louise, and then we have 14 beauty professionals working freelance as makeup artists, nail techs and lash pros. We are a Copenhagen based beauty on-demand concept, where you can order professional beauty services and have them delivered directly to your door. Whether at home, the office or the hotel room. The services we offer are nails, lashes, makeup & hair. We cater to both B2C and B2B. We have worked on a lot of interesting B2B projects, e.g. a concert, theatre/musicals, commercials, sketch shows, a movie, a TV-series and different company events for larger and smaller brands. Of B2C jobs we mainly do nails, lashes, bridal makeup and social events for a smaller group of girls. Our main B2C target group is women in the age span of 25-39, where we have found young professionals and mothers of younger children to be our beachhead(s). Our office is located in the middle of Strøget in central Copenhagen, so it is very easy to get to and from the office with public transportation.

Pufin ID A/S

Securing Brand Trust. Pufin ID A/S is an innovative venture exploring the margin between Artificial Intelligence and Materials Science. We have developed a novel approach to uniquely identifying every object in existence using Physical Unclonable Functions, or PUFs. A PUF is a unique object fingerprint which is impossible to replicate, thus enabling an irrefutable link between physical goods and their digital records. PUF technology has enormous potential to tackle trillion-dollar problems from product counterfeiting to tracking items through the circular economy.

We have a digital platform used for recruiting, but starting July we will start the development of a new platform aiming to approach the market differently. Become Legends

Become Legends is a esports team and brand and with headquarters in Norway. The team rapidly gained a foothold in the Fortnite scene and has built a stellar reputation after having participated in the Fortnite World Cup 2019 and placing 12th with Pontus 'Tchub' Bucht and securing $150,000. The team features players from Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and the UK and are one of the top global contenders in Fortnite when it comes to both competitive and branding. The team consistently ranks as a top team in 2020, ranking between #1 and #3 in Europe according to Gamepedia Fortnite Power Rankings. Our vision is to be a Norwegian and Nordic esports and lifestyle brand that is exported globally, by having a continuity of purpose (strive to be the very best) and be an esports brand and image with Nordic roots that young people asipre to be a part of. Keybird Instruments IVS

Keybird Instruments is developing a lightweight acoustic piano to help piano enthusiasts play with their preferred sound (acoustic) with a practicality and price comparable to that of digital pianos. Nine out of ten piano enthusiasts prefer acoustic sound, yet most play digital because of price, size and weight. We want to combine the best of both worlds. We can offer an acoustic piano that weighs only 40 + 15 kg, only occupying half a square meter of valuable living space. It can be transported in normal cars. The first model has a slightly reduced amount of keys (just like many digital keyboards) having all the keys for pop and jazz but also most of classical music in the first five years of music schools. We are in the Beta phase and will open up for sales in Autumn 2020. We use one string per key which allows us to build a piano significantly lighter, even with long strings to maintain optimal sound quality. We thus have a strong focus on sound quality, rather than loudness. We can reach the low price due to automated production here in Europe and a design strategy that allows this. We started this because we needed it for ourselves and saw the need for others. We asked all the piano enthusiasts we could reach and get the interest in our product confirmed. The huge market of acoustic and digital piano (we combine the benefits) is what keeps us in pace to release a great product.

Ka-ching

We are on a mission. We've taken the old fashioned cash register and wrapped it in an App. It's digital, so go ahead and install it on an iPhone or iPad and bring all the good stuff from the webshop into the hands of the store associate. That's called omnichannel – with a fancy word. The team behind Ka-ching is made up of experts who have worked with e-commerce, mobile solutions, user-friendliness and strategy through many years. We came together to solve a significant and current problem in our society: The death of shops. Our background and experiences are the reason we have found new paths. This means that Ka-ching POS isn't just another modernised IBM cash register from the '70s. The apps we have created is designed to make you think about sales and customer service in a whole new way.

LastObject

LastObject is dedicated to creating sustainable alternatives to single-use items. We've created LastSwab - the world's first reusable cotton swab, as well as LastTissue - the reusable tissue. LastObject’s mission is to reduce and eliminate single-use products. Our main focus is to identify single-use items that needlessly damage our environment. Our aim is to reduce waste. When we started, our idea was to do produce something good for the environment and being three designers it made sense to use those skills and design something that works as replacements for something that is damaging the environment.

Jun Grooming

Jun Grooming is a Copenhagen based startup manufacturing handmade, premium men's cosmetics products. The carefully curated beard oils and balms are made only from EU sourced certified organic ingredients, and contain no unnatural chemicals and preservatives. The founder, Kendzsi Tanaka used his personal experience and research in natural skincare to develop these products, after living all his life with a condition of sensitive, dry and irritable skin. After successfully building the initial inventory, developing and launching the webshop and relevant social media profiles, the company has run into a problem of reaching and growing its first customer base. The sales launch in January showed good results with online sales for private costumers, but the first excitement slowly died down. Currently, Jun Grooming is looking for partnerships, advice, and funding for developing and implementing successful marketing strategies, aiming for the fundamental product flow. The Jun Grooming Instagram page currently has 1k+ followers after only a single year of running, which is very competent in its sector. Also, the business-to-business channel is showing good development, with products available in two local barbershops, only 4 months after the initial sales launch in January 2020. Through these mediums, Jun Grooming is experiencing steady growth, but unfortunately not quite enough to let the business run itself. Therefore, Jun Grooming wishes to get in touch with investors and mentors to guide its way through this difficult step.
