In low-income communities, a popular and established method of saving up is to join a savings group where you save up as a community rather than individually. Our app is built to digitalise and support these groups. Group members can use our app to record their savings and lending history, which creates a unique credit score. This credit score enables our users to gain access to financial services that they have previously been excluded from. The groups also learn business skills and how to use technology, empowering them to improve their future. Our app is co-created with more than 600 people in savings groups, basing the solution on their needs and abilities. IPRally is an AI startup solving the patent search with a new kind of graph-based approach. There is a huge need for better search, as the data is exploding. In 2018 there were 3.3 million new patent applications, 5.2% more than a year before. In the bigger picture we aim to change how technology is searched, and speed up the progress of everything.

The uMover® is a smart and usability-focused 3-wheel electrical vehicle for transporting people over shorter indoor and outdoor distances (0,5-5 km). It has been developed by us, DTU spinout CJ Company IVS, whom have built the uMover® upon a future mobility concept proposed by Continental AG (CAG). The uMover® targets employees who need to travel frequently within shorter distances, enabling them to become more efficient at work by easing their way of travel and reducing their travel time substantially. The uMover® will be a superior work-environment travel solution, as it – due to its smart design – offers the flexible advantages of walking, but with the similar speed and ease as driving a car or a bike. Drawbacks of the solutions in the market today are high prices, space requirements (especially for cars), no compliance with traffic regulations and laws and poor safety control (limiting the indoor application possibilities). Through cooperation with DTU and CAG we have been able to complete a full proof-of-concept and develop several of the unique mechanical components and are now in the detailing phase of the mechanical and electrical construction for a scale-up of the uMover®.
