Twig is a Danish natural personal hygiene start-up that aims to promote a sustainable and back to basics lifestyle through its 100% natural and biodegradable toothbrush. Twig is a natural toothbrush that is more portable and hygienic, leading to a decrease in waste and pollution. The primary target customers with a sustainable mindset and lifestyle further includes sub-segments of vegans, yogis, outdoor adventurers, environment conscious consumers. As an impact-driven startup born from the passion to introduce a complete sustainable solution to the gruesome plastic waste crisis from toothbrushes, the urge is to make better use of the natural resources we have by integrating them as a part of our green habits. Our purpose is to simply leave a mark on the world instead of the planet by becoming the most honest and transparent natural personal hygiene brand.

Keybird Instruments IVS

Keybird Instruments is developing a lightweight acoustic piano to help piano enthusiasts play with their preferred sound (acoustic) with a practicality and price comparable to that of digital pianos. Nine out of ten piano enthusiasts prefer acoustic sound, yet most play digital because of price, size and weight. We want to combine the best of both worlds. We can offer an acoustic piano that weighs only 40 + 15 kg, only occupying half a square meter of valuable living space. It can be transported in normal cars. The first model has a slightly reduced amount of keys (just like many digital keyboards) having all the keys for pop and jazz but also most of classical music in the first five years of music schools. We are in the Beta phase and will open up for sales in Autumn 2020. We use one string per key which allows us to build a piano significantly lighter, even with long strings to maintain optimal sound quality. We thus have a strong focus on sound quality, rather than loudness. We can reach the low price due to automated production here in Europe and a design strategy that allows this. We started this because we needed it for ourselves and saw the need for others. We asked all the piano enthusiasts we could reach and get the interest in our product confirmed. The huge market of acoustic and digital piano (we combine the benefits) is what keeps us in pace to release a great product.

HELIOT EMIL

1. INTRODUCTION A Ready-To-Wear fashion company presented by brothers Julius Juul and Victor Juul from Copenhagen, Denmark. Exploring the lines between form and function driven by experimental approaches, HELIOT EMIL™ pushes the semantic dialogue within the creative industry. A subversive scandinavian and monochromatic aesthetic, combined with custom developed materials, fabrics and trimmings, HELIOT EMIL™ entices a high attention to detail throughout every branch. Designer Julius Juul draws on thought provoking themes and a curiosity about creative expression reflected in every collection by HELIOT EMIL™. 2. FOUNDATION Since the first collection was showcased in Milan during spring / summer 17 season, HELIOT EMIL™ has continually expropriated its exploration of the creative milieu. The aesthetic is carefully developed with custom fabrics, hardware trimmings and materials. Each hardware detail is created from the bottom up with form and function in mind. Experimentation and a high attention to detail is ensured by partnering only with the best in their category and industry. A tight-bond with all partners allows for a coherent evolution of the brand aesthetic. With painstaking attention to detail each garment is conceived from a collective ideation for each season standing in relation to the brand as a whole. 3. FUTURE The subsequent phase for HELIOT EMIL™ will see a further cementation of the brand and an expansion of the semantic dialogue with the creative milieu. You can easily find your new office using our unique filters. We start with coworking offers in Norway. In the near future we will also enter foreign markets such as Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Germany, UK and Poland.

Mister Wise

Mister Wise has developed a digital customer loyalty system to help smaller restaurants and cafés retain their loyal customers. A problem many restaurants and café owners are facing today, and have been facing for a long time, is the harsh competitiveness in the market. To stand out in the market place each restaurant offer their own unique concept which they fully control on their own. This will always be the most central part of the equation. However, to keep their customers coming back to their unique concept, a good, easy and systematic loyalty system is of essence. The science is clear on the fact that that retaining already existing customers is cheaper and more profitable than acquiring new customers. That’s why most corporations around the world have their own loyalty systems in place. Why shouldn’t the local restaurant and café? By not utilizing a loyalty system, the restaurant is making themselves a disservice. The customer is lacking an element of the overall experience and the business owner is leaving extra cash on the table. This is a widespread problem which affects all parties involved. The situation is however quite understandable as developing your own digital loyalty system is very time consuming, not to mention expensive. That’s where Mister Wise comes into the picture, offering a tool normally only used by the big sharks in the market to the smaller fish. Mister Wise does not believe in the old-fashioned paper stamp where the customer collects 10 stamps and then gets a free coffee. What if you don’t like coffee and you only drink smoothies? Every customer who walks into the particular food place is a customer who may or may not come back again. To maximize the chances for that customer to come back they should have the opportunity to “collect stamps’’ on whatever they order. That’s why Mister Wise offers a point-based system instead, in which the customer orders and buys whatever he or she want on the menu and then collect points on that particular purchase. This way, all customers can utilize the offer. After X amount of points have been collected, the customer receives a voucher he or she can use at that restaurant. Not only does the customer receive a financial benefit for their loyalty but they also receive a non-financial benefit. For each voucher that is received a heartwarming message from the restaurant owner is sent to the customer, to fully maximize the potency of the loyalty system. As one of the founders had worked part time at a grocery store for quite some time, he knew the value of a good loyalty system and thought it was very strange that it’s only used by the big sharks in the market. After doing market research it was concluded that there was a desire among the local food places for a product such as the one Mister Wise is offering

Teemly

Teemly is on a mission to truly connect distributed teams by introducing the world’s best virtual office. What is a virtual office? In times when colleagues are no longer physically co-located, and remote collaboration still isn’t as smooth as it could be, we think we can help by giving physically spread out colleagues a joint office. A place where you talk ad hoc, have fun and get to feel like a valued, included member of the team, regardless of your location. In Teemly we believe that none of us is as good as all of us together and that the real success of a working environment is the constant collaboration between colleagues. We believe that spending 50+ hours a week working with people you don’t click with (or you don’t like) is not a healthy work environment and that is reflected in the results of a company. With that mindset, we have built a virtual office that removes the social barriers that remote working “from home” creates. We are in expansion mode, our beta product is up & running and approaching the launch. At Teemly, things are moving fast but, don't worry, we have it under control.
