Bitcall

Bitcall is a mobile-first calling solution for sales teams. Improve sales results with click-to-call, automatic logging to CRM, and call analytics.    The service enables sales team to close more deals, waste less time on data entry and make more calls. It automatically collects data entry, resulting in less administrative work. The sales manager is getting information instantly which enables a more effective process, as improvements can be implemented faster. Bitcall is a B2B service and focuses on tech enterprises with sales team in-house.     Our product is digital, our team is digital, everything is digital: it’s in our DNA. Some of us work at the office in Gothenburg, and some don’t. Location doesn’t matter: we communicate on Slack even though we sit right next to each other! Trust is important to us, and we are all expected to deliver results. We don’t look at how things are done but rather the results of what we’re doing. That makes us very result and data driven, and it is important to make sure we’re working on relevant features. Our decisions are based on data, and not on personal hierarchies. We are all from different backgrounds and new perspectives are crucial. We need to stay open-minded and listen very carefully to the market. Sometimes (often) we need to change our product to make sure we’re working very closely with our clients. The market has enormous potential and is currently more or less unexplored. It’s an exciting market, and our product is very needed. We are all very interested in the problem we are solving, and that’s an important part of working with us.

Arthro Therapeutics is pioneering software-as-a-medicine for osteoarthritis, re-thinking and transforming how people get diagnosed and treatment for the chronic disease. Our flagship product “Joint Academy”, approaches healthcare with real science (clinical evidence) primed by objective data to deliver the best outcome for healthy joints. For the hardest-to-treat conditions we simply believe we have to go beyond pills and surgery. We have gathered industry experts, professors, physiotherapists, engineers and venture capital from relevant firms to solve this problem. Documentation of the things that make your organization function – processes, systems, capabilities, strategies – can quickly get spread out across many tools.  Ardoq keeps that information in a single place and makes sure it stays up-to-date through automation and collaboration. We offer a complete SaaS solution using some of the most exciting technology.  Working at numerous companies, big and small, we always had trouble finding historical documentation. It took days to navigate the local system architecture. And even when we found documentation, the lack of standardization made things even harder. To make matters worse, we never really understood the big picture, “how were we affecting other teams, processes, and systems?” we could never know. All this wasted time was costing these companies money and causing employees huge amounts of frustration, especially when new staff arrived. So we decided to stop pulling our hair out and created a lightweight, easy-to-use alternative to the solutions you find in enterprise architecture and documentation software.

Graphiq

Graphiq is building the future of work. We are creating a digital infrastructure to connect top design talent with great projects. Our solution enables remote work and digital collaboration, changing how companies get work done. We challenge existing work flows, move fast and are not afraid of breaking things as long as we learn.   We are connecting companies with handpicked designers. It’s a tough challenge for companies to find freelance designers who can deliver top-tier design with good communication abilities. And most designers use too much time selling in new projects, invoicing, keeping control of taxes and monthly reporting of VAT.  Graphiq bridges these two groups by making it easy for customers to find handpicked freelancers to collaborate with. Also, freelancers working through Graphiq receive loads of design projects letting them focus on what they love, design, rather than all the administrative work. We have a really good relationship with all our customers and designers. For instance one of our designers, Mia, sent us lately a picture of her working on a beach in Florida adding an ironic text about "how terrible it has been working for Graphiq”. Before she started freelancing through Graphiq, she did not have the opportunity to make a living designing. Now she says that thanks to Graphiq, she can focus solely on what she loves doing, namely design. That’s kind of our goal - we want everyone, freelancers and companies, to feel like Mia.

Mondido Payments

Mondido is a payment service for e-commerce. Mondido enables clients to increase sales by reducing the amount of failed payments and through optimizing the transaction flow. Mondido offers a simple and fast way to start accepting payments on websites and mobile applications while offering smart features for analyzing and increasing sales. Merchants and web shops can get up and running with payments fast and effective using hosted payment windows, JavaScript forms and API integrations.  Mondido is nothing without our customers. Every feature we develop is based on client needs. We listen very carefully to the market and what we should work on to ensure we deliver excellent value. Further, the customer gets all the power: we never demand them to use our logo in their store or anything like that - our clients should own the experience.  We are driven by innovation, and we want to do things differently and break norms. We are all experts in our fields, and we offer lots of freedom as well as responsibility. We want to be solution-oriented and informal in how we work. Scrive

Scrive is a premium service for digital legal agreements, from e-signatures to retail point-of-sale. When you buy a phone and sign the contract on an iPad, that's us. We serve enterprise customers across Europe and include industries such as telecom, banking, insurance, automotive and more. Scrive is based in Stockholm, Sweden. What truly defines us is our expertise. We recruit the best people, and not everyone can work in that sort of high-intensity environment. As an example, our entire backend is built in Haskell, which is sort of a hardcore choice, but that attracts some hardcore talent. The best people don’t live in the same place, so our team includes a lot of remote people, based all over Europe.We have grown to the point where we have proper departments and responsibilities: we now have product, marketing, engineering, support, IT, operations, and sales teams. With that being said, everybody still has two jobs, and the boundaries are still blurry (after all, we are still a start-up). Many of us are based in different countries in Europe, and some of us work together at our office in Stockholm. Since we are a remote-friendly team, we speak daily on slack, weekly via hangouts with the whole company, and we arrange two conferences a year where everyone gets the opportunity to get to know each other in the physical world. We work hard, but we know the value of balance, so we also spend a lot of time trying to refine our processes and improve how we work. Our sales processes are long; we need to be persistent and have a long-term perspective on our service, while innovating aggressively.

What we want most of all is to be productive and create great work. We often have company meetings offsite, like for example a weekend in the Archipelago, as company culture is key for us. As we have offices in other locations (Spain, Greece, UK, and soon the US) there’s also the opportunity, given the role you take, to travel to our other offices to experience the work culture there.

Halon Security

A fully scriptable SMTP software, with a collection of programmable SMTP-command hooks and a complete toolbox through our high-level email-specific scripting language. Halon enables customers to reduce their operational costs and minimize the amount of time dedicated to manual tasks. Our largest customer base is currently in the Nordics but we are working on an international expansion. Great work comes from individuals with that get a change to take charge. At Halon we believe that when we can offer an employee enough responsibility to take their own initiatives, he/she will do so. We give everyone clear responsibilities but freedom within their areas. Halon is directly built on trust and consists of excellent, self-reliant people. Northfork

Northfork is changing the way we shop food. Shopping online removes the need to go to the store, but shopping by recipe eliminates the three energy thieves; Figuring out what to eat, Searching for the products, and Improvising in the kitchen. At the core of Northfork is a world leading technology platform that understands the complex relationship between user generated ingredients, products at any retailer and your personal preferences so you can eat healthy and varied in less than 10 clicks.  We focus 100% on our customers. Our customers range from large retailers to end users, and everything we do is based on their needs and desires. Other than focusing on our customers, we like to get things done and be proactive as well as independent. We also like working out together and going out for a beer from time to time (although, a little bit difficult as our team members are located in different parts of the world). At Northfork, every team member is involved in decision making. We do workshops where we decide tactics and strategy together. Since only some of us are based in Stockholm, we optimize for remote-first work and spend time together using tools like Slack, Google Meet and Miro. All of us are very results-driven, and we all share the same vision: to change the way consumers shop food.

46elks

We have an API for phone calls, messages, and MMS which allows any developer without any experience to use features in the mobile networks. The vision is fairly simple: technology should be accessible for every developer and every business no matter the size, and not be restricted to big companies.We are focusing on developers and geographically on Scandinavia but long term, we see our service on a global basis. We are a dedicated team and our culture is built on trust. Everybody can work where and how they want. We try to share the common burden of customer support, but other than that we have clear responsibilities and we trust everyone to do what they do best. At 46elks, we don’t have regular meetings as we often work from different places, which means we offer a lot of freedom. Customers are our first priority: we always try to answer quickly on emails and we are always available for a phone call. Our features are based on their feedback and we listen carefully to them to know what to do next. We have two core values at 46elks: stability and honesty. The service should always work, and we tell our customers if we have a technical problem. Simple as that. And just to mention a little bonus: every team member gets their own Raspberry Pi on their first day!
