Restarters Norway jobber for å skape en kultur for reparasjon av elektronikk i Norge, basert på frivillighet, delingskultur og bærekraft. Vi engasjerer og inspirerer folk og beslutningstakere gjennom å spre konseptet Fiksefest for elektronikk, og ved å sette bærekraftig forbruk av elektronikk på den offentlige agendaen. Vi er en del av et internasjonalt Restarters-nettverk som har vokst ut av Londonbaserte The Restart Project. Nordmenn ligger på Europatoppen når det gjelder bruk og kast av elektronikk, og dette har store klima- og miljømessige konsekvenser. Ved å jobbe praktisk og lokalt, spre glede og mestring knyttet til reparasjon ønsker vi å endre folks forhold til elektronikk, hvordan vi setter pris på og tar vare på den. På en Fiksefest utforsker og reparerer vi elektronikken sammen, lærer av hverandre og har det gøy med å la den leve lenger. Gjennom arrangementene sprer vi derfor nysgjerrighet og ingeniørferdigheter, i tillegg til glede knyttet til å ta vare på elektronikken vår.

We have designed a filtration system, with the purpose of collecting particles such as microplastics and aquatic biomass from seawater, used in production and maritime industries. Happens is the leading event app for organizers who want their event in a designed app that allows them to easily interact with their users. Happens is facilitated to be a social platform. Users contribute to our database by uploading pictures and videos of their experiences. In contrast to other social media platforms, this content has actual innate value, as it serves the function of being live updates from ongoing events, available for all users in the area to see. So Happens not only show’s you what’s going on in the future, but also what’s going on in real-time, and what’s already happened. It’s an app where you can find every event and happening going on, wherever you are in Norway. You find all relevant information like description, time, place, direction, and tickets. If you’re a tourist and the content is in a foreign language, we also translate this for you (next version feature). We integrate content automatically and free from the largest databases in the world, as well as smaller local sources. The reason we’re able to integrate such a large amount of content is due to the extensive trend in open API’s, meaning that we now have access to large amounts of content that until recently was not available. We’re able to catch all the largest events, but also smaller events that often fall under peoples radar. We’re a platform for these types of events to profile themselves, and distribute themselves towards a larger crowd without having to pay for it. We make all events accessible and easy to find by a very thorough categorization, in order to distinguish between all forms of happenings.
