Danish Startup Group (DSG) is a non-profit organization in Copenhagen. Our vision is to inspire and support entrepreneurs in their startup journey. We do that by engaging with our members in a variety of events:start-up tours, workshops, learning activities and social networking opportunities. Through our events, we strive to provide our members valuable insights into the national and global startup environment and connect them with like-minded peers from different universities, colleges and professions.

Helppy is redefining elderly home care. As a platform, we provide and connect seniors with local caregivers. Starting in 2018 by solving the problem of ever changing caregivers for our own mother, we are disrupting and complementing the traditional operating model of elderly care. We believe every elderly is entitled to an own trustworthy local caregiver. No one should be left alone with the everyday challenges. Helppy started operations in late 2018 and quickly became one of the leading providers of help for seniors in Southern Helsinki. Currently, we are expanding to many municipalities across Finland.

1: Short description ARETE is developing a matchmaking platform for CS:GO to help hardcore gamers become better players with a role-based rating- and division-system. 2: The What: What are we solving We severely lack player agency in Counter-Strike. For almost as long as Counter-Strike has existed, there has been an unwritten understanding that there are roles. The problem is that there is no way of teaching these roles and no way of being rewarded for performing them. All players are rewarded the same - like a goalkeeper equally being rewarded for scoring goals. The different responsibilities are not seen statistically and players don't know what to expect of themselves and of others. This is something that affects all amateur players without coaches and managers around them - and no one else is doing anything about it. 3: The How: How we solve this Our solution is to build a platform where players can choose a role with a selection of tasks and responsibilities, play a match where the team of strangers around the player is composed of other roles that complement each other and after the match get rewarded for the specific tasks the player was responsible for. This will give more player agency, bring better and clearer communication, and more importantly - it will make them feel useful. 4: The Why: What motivated us to get started I have competed in Counter-Strike competitively for 10 years and during all this time it's been a real struggle for me personally to try and play outside team practice. I knew what my role was, but I had no way of efficiently training when my teammates weren't around. I want to create an environment where players can become who they are meant to be and focus their efforts. I have dedicated years of my life into defining the roles and coming up with a system that will make solo matchmaking feel like team practice, and I have already found some amazing people to help me make it happen - will you join us in our journey to making matchmaking better?

Customer onboarding is a central piece of the overall client journey as it is often the first experience that clients go through. It is however also a process fraught with complexity and ever-changing rules and regulations. At its core, a process that needs to satisfy relatively opposite forces - compliance/regulation and customer/user experience. The best proven way of tackling this problem is to build a sleek user experience and use the latest digital identity services to shorten the process as much as possible. The issue with this is that it can take months to implement just a single identity service and from that point making future changes would require even further development resources. HelloFlow is a Platform as a Service (PaaS) company that was started to explore ways of solving this issue. Our founders had previously been met with a similar situation when they were asked to implement onboarding solutions for some of Europe’s largest companies. The essence of the platform is that it combines two functionalities: 1. an easy way to create and adjust an onboarding “flow” and 2. a service infrastructure that allows a given company to “drag and drop” identity services into their new process. What this results in, is a platform where building compliant, best-in-class digital onboarding flows can now be done in minutes, without writing a single line of code.

Teton.ai is a computer vison and AI Medtech company. Our long-term goal is to revolutionize the hospital experience – and we’re starting with building the first generation of contactless patient monitoring systems. That will improve the health and comfort for patients with limitations towards physical devices, and later changing the whole hospital experience. 

We are what we found out the first algorithmic platform for trading with cryptocurrencies that uses deep learning for analysis of data at the same time we build it on blockchain architecture including smart contracts. The problem we are solving is that we promised the market they are able to make money with our algorithms which our competer also promise but can´t live up to.

Livly builds the physical and digital infrastructure to deliver delicious, affordable and healthy food, through our network of cloud kitchens and kitchen operating system. Livly started as a platform connecting restaurants and customers through tailored financial incentive, typically two for one on the main dish. After thousands of interactions with hundreds of restaurants across the region, we learned that the boom in on-demand food economy creates real friction for restaurants. In July 2020, we launched our first cloud kitchen to solve this problem. We cook and distribute food on behalf of restaurants so they can focus on their dine-in customers. So we bring customers through the door and the restaurant dishes to the masses. Despite the recent setback, at Livly we believe the city is the greatest invention we have come up with, and we have the science to back it up, as we live longer, healthier happier lives in the city. Part of the reason for this is the rich undergrowth of merchants such as restaurants. We are passionate about helping these individuals.

Boogiz is a further development of the dance app ''Badjango Dance Creator'', created by DaFreeGo. In Badjango user can learn to dance and create its own dance with avatars. Badjango is sold to educational institutions in Denmark and has partners as Gyldendal publishing house. Boogiz is the commercial version of Badjango. In Boogiz the user can be inspired and learn how to dance with help from real dancers, creates its own dance and and easily make dance videos to share on a friendly sharing platform. In short, Boogiz is a ''Dance TikTok'' - but of course Boogiz align with GDPR and the house rules/gamification makes bullying impossible.

ooono® is a small electronic gadget for your car, that warns you when you get close to a speed trap or other POI. ooono comes preinstalled with information on speed traps and other traffic data in more than 50 countries. The traffic alarm uses its massive network of users in all of Europe to mark and update placements on speed traps and other incidents for the benefit of traffic safety.

Grant develops and markets GrantOne - a user-friendly, cloud-based solution that caters to the needs of foundations, their boards and administrators. GrantOne digitalizes the entire application handling process from online application forms, through application review to final payout. GrantOne is highly customizable allowing the workflow to be customized to cater to the particular needs of each customer and user. We have currently implemented GrantOne with more than 75 foundations ranging from small foundations to some of the biggest in Denmark.
