FASK-TOOLS

FASK founder Aarseth has worked as seaman in many years, the last years offshore and within anchorhandling. He came from goods/bulk trade and older secondhand vessel types to a offshore environment with new and modern vessels with top equipment of all categories onboard. It was therefore nearly  a shock-experience for him, when he at his first rig-move and this up to date working environment,  observed working methods associated with the stone-age while performing the opening of kenterlinks. Aarseth thought to himself that this operation seemed dangerous and cumbersome. He thought of his own sons working in this industry, and felt that this needed a better solution. That thought was the beginning of the kenter link opener, and Fask Tools. Aarseth came in contact with Statoil and Havila, who were immediately interested, but that required testing of this then unknown tool in  safe environment before testing/operation offshore. Testing was performed onshore by Kongsberg Devotek and later offshore and in operation onboard the Havila Mars.

MiniMeis

MiniMeis is a new Norwegian-made, patented product that gives your child the best view from your shoulders. It is ergonomically designed and collapsible. Unlike traditional carrying devices where you carry the child on your back, pulling you back. This enables you to stand longer and walk longer without being tired, compared to just carrying the child on your shoulders or in a traditional carrying device.  ONE product that follows your child for many years. From 6 months your child sits firmly on your shoulders, strapped in with a 5 point seat belt.. Safe and sound! As the child grows there is no need to use the seat belts, and you change the seat cover to one without traps. The safety aspect is then through fastening the child with the leg straps.

We have since our start-up in 2016 been joined by others with key experience and networks in flow simulator development, petroleum engineering, asset management, cloud computing, data analysis, machine learning, and venture development. The ongoing digitalization in the Oil & Gas industry is accompanied with a smaller workforce that take on larger workloads. New demand is set to expert systems that support field personnel in their daily production decisions. The fluid flow in wells and pipelines is key information for any producing asset. The fluid flow can be modelled and key data can be immediately transmitted to the user with physical based simulator solutions that use real time data from sensors and equipment. Today, these simulator solutions are of limited use by the industry as the technology has performance issues in real time environment and is expensive to install and maintain. Users are looking for a new innovative solution that can support their increased daily workload and be easily maintained by themselves.
