Bokio

Bokio is your independent accountant. Bokio is an entirely free service that covers accounting, billing, and payments. Bookkeeping is not adding value to any company or product, and Bokio is a solution to this issue resulting in more productive work. In the future, we see the process as completely automatized, which is our biggest challenge. Bokio currently focuses on Sweden, but long-term it will be introduced to international markets as well. Our team consists of energetic, hungry and solution-oriented individuals. We see opportunities rather than obstacles, and we do what needs to be done. We work together at the office; that’s part of our values: to work together. There is a significant social benefit of sitting together; our ideas flow more freely if we can constantly ask each other questions and exchange ideas. Plans and strategies are the foundations of decisions rather than particular people or roles. We always aim to understand the context and focus on what is important right now. We’re an active bunch of people, and we do a lot of sports activities together: orientation, running, climbing, you name it. If it’s a sunny day, we might spend some time outdoors during the day to work all night the following day.  We also arrange two parties every year when we invite the entire start-up community in Gothenburg, to exchange ideas and gain perspectives. As a part of our team, you need to love to learn new things and test your limits. You can never be completely satisfied: things can always be done differently or improved. We always need to make sure we are ready to shift priorities if things change, which makes our work very dynamic.

NUITEQ

Most children have short attention spans. Natural User Interface® Technologies AB (NUITEQ®) solves that problem in elementary education. NUITEQ has developed MultiTeach, a software suite of collaborative learning games for touch screens that is used in classrooms to empower educators to teach and helps children to learn in a more engaging and playful way. The software improves educational outcomes for teachers, students and schools. The product creates higher engagement, better collaboration and greater enjoyment, when learning. Research shows that children learn more when they "play". This is why NUITEQ is re-imagining and redefining education technology, by making education more fun. The company has customers and partners in over 70 countries.

EventEye

EventEye creates easy to use event apps focussed on organizing and saving time for meetings and event professionals in their otherwise busy schedules. Suddenly it is fun to go to an event with live polling, Q&A and all the event information at your fingertips.  In a short period of time EventEye has grown from a small startup in Norway to become one of the world players in the event technology industry, classified as the most user-friendly solution out there.  Eventeye is an innovative event app company that really focuses on crafting a great user-experience, for both participants and organizers. On one hand, Eventeye wants to make it easy for participants navigate through conferences or a professional events they attend and on the other, it ensures that the solution is effective for organizers to help them save time.

We like a flexible work environment - there’s a lot of buzz in our office, with a mix of quiet space for people who want to focus on their projects. We have regular events in the office with our Brand Ambassadors, development team, and with the internal team, so there are a lot of possibilities to get involved in our culture. We’re professional, yet we like to give people the freedom to work the way that suits them best, if that means they want to sit on the sofas with a coffee to work, that’s no problem. What we want most of all is to be productive and create great work. We often have company meetings offsite, like for example a weekend in the Archipelago, as company culture is key for us. As we have offices in other locations (Spain, Greece, UK, and soon the US) there’s also the opportunity, given the role you take, to travel to our other offices to experience the work culture there.

It's My Styl

It’s My Styl is a creative social gaming platform. The platform is a mix of gaming and social networking, and it offers users to create a digital product without needing to go public themselves. The content is not connected to good looks but inspiration. It’s My Styl focuses on young teenage girls with the passion for fashion and creativity. It’s My Styl works with trending features, top lists, and communities to deliver a top notch experience. We are very customer-focused and adapt all our features after customers needs. We are very data driven, and we measure everything we do to make sure we are working on projects or features that our users want. Our product is still a hypothesis that we need to test, and change, depending on our feedback.Our team is like a small family; we are very well-integrated, and personal chemistry is super important to us. If you join us, you work with us and not for us. We offer freedom and responsibility for everyone to thrive and test their limits. We are open to all kinds of backgrounds, as long as you work hard and have a passion for what you do.  We want to strengthen young women and make sure they get the opportunity to express their creativity without needing good looks to do so. We would never build a product that wouldn’t be morally righteous, and in that sense, we are social entrepreneurs too. We prefer working together at the office; it’s simply easier and more fun. With that being said, we do offer flexible work hours and location if you feel this way of working suits you better. Further, we value open communication and positive vibes within the team. Two of us work remotely, but we meet every third month for a longer workshop and a nice dinner.

Today, our main market is in Europe At DPOrganizer, we are all equally involved in what we do. Everything we do is for ourselves and the company. We firmly believe in our vision, our product, and our abilities. We discuss and share thoughts about strategy and our long-term plan, but regarding everyday work we have our different expertise and we know what we do best in the team.Most of our development and features are based on customer feedback, which makes our company very customer focused. We are building a product that does good and adds value; we make companies work efficiently, and we help them be better at respecting their customer's and employee's integrity, which is good news for all private individual. The team shares the same vision of adding value and making privacy work better, which makes it easier for us to continue building a great product.As we still are in an early state, there is always something to celebrate. Every time we reach a minor milestone we try to celebrate and spend time outside the office.

ftrack

ftrack is cloud-based collaboration for creative companies, and we aim to simplify the process from pitch to screen. It enables users to set up projects, allocate tasks, track their work, make notes together - all in the same space. ftrack offers more insight into the process, such as how much time they spend in different areas, resulting in a clear project overview and better time management.We have clients from about 60 countries, and our largest markets are in the US, the UK, and Germany. Our team focuses on the success of our customers - we make sure that we develop features that can help them reach their goals. It is important for us to focus on the right things as we see results immediately. To do so, we need to interact with our clients, which we do by for instance chatting and answering our phones any time of the day. In the beginning, we worked so hard for something for a long time, but everything improved when we started with one simple thing: listening to our customers. ftrack is a flat organization, and we give the opportunity to work from home on Thursdays. Work balance is important to us, and our business is built on trust. Everything we do can be done from anywhere, but we like spending time together at the office. Sometimes we go to the cinema after work, and we arrange internal hackathons.
