KROM Kendama was born to fulfill the vision of producing the highest quality of kendamas in the world while keeping it funky and relatable, striving to make kendama the biggest secondary sport in the world. Since the beginning of the company, we’ve worked on spreading kendama on a global scale. The rise and growth of the kendama community has allowed KROM to spread, and the team to travel the entire world. In 2010 KROM was founded by 2014 freestyle kendama world champion Thorkild May in hopes of igniting the kendama love wherever possible. Since then we’ve worked hard to develop the kendama culture worldwide from the KROM HQ & Shop in Copenhagen. From the KROM Shop, we host a weekly kendama club and work to support similar initiatives like kendama clubs in Colorado and Latvia. We also sponsor a large number of events every year with prizes and pro players and host events ourselves, like the 2019 European Kendama Championships. As kendama was developing across the world, KROM naturally grew with it and the ideas of creating our own kendamas and becoming more involved in the community couldn’t be kept down. In the latter half of 2012 KROM Kendama went from mainly being a crew of homies playing and distributing kendamas to starting the learning process of creating the best possible kendamas out there. Leading up DAMAFEST 2013, the North American kendama championships, KROM started to pick up steam with the recognition of the clean dama designs and crazy tricks. Thorkild May and teammate Mathias Rasmussen ended up winning the American Freestyle Championships, laying down what has become a staple of the KROM image: the signature Danish flow and the recognizably funky kendamas. Since then KROM has developed and grown even further, we’re constantly striving to represent the kendama community in the best way possible, and of course to provide the best possible products to all the supporters in across the globe. With every new kendama, we’re determined to improve both the playability and the design. For these purposes and more, we’ve gathered the most winning team in the world, composed of internationally acclaimed players with several World and European championship titles, as well as a lot of homies to help us reach our goals. We’re grateful to be able to take kendama to new heights through our work and we look forward to seeing where kendama takes us next. Kubell Audio is a DTU based Audio startup, creating a modular, easy to use audio system empowering hobbyist musicians & upcoming artists. Through the last 10 years, the internet has enabled a revolution in the music industry, making it much easier for independent musicians to create and share their music on social platforms like soundcloud. This is however a completely different story when it comes to the artist's ability to perform live, and share their music with people in the real world. Here, the only available Live audio equipment is wired, complicated and extremely time consuming to use and set up - which works directly against the artists wishes of spontaneous creativity and independence of the musical industry. We wanted to change this, and create an audio product that enabled this spontaneous freedom for live audio. We therefore created and patented an intelligent (patent pending), completely wireless audio system - where powerful speakers add on modules (such as microphones and guitar modules) are easily snapped together, and automatically set up by the system in seconds - enabling everyone to easily share their music and interact with fans through their beloved medium of music. Beyond our initial Kickstarter launch, we are looking to revolutionize the Live audio industry globally, by empowering musicians, and enabling them to become, and stay independent.

Go Dogo offers deep-tech products that will keep dogs mentally healthy. Dogs need mental stimulation to stay healthy. It is hard for the modern dog owner to find good solutions - especially for when their dog is home alone. Our solution is a gaming console that uses the home TV to give instructions and feedback and dispenses treats as rewards. Computer vision enables Go Dogo to work autonomously, and it adapts to each dog individually and gradually increases difficulty to ensure adequate mental stimulation.

At Brevetti AI, we apply artificial intelligence to improve quality control in pharmaceutical manufacturing. We have a SaaS product that lets our customers train, evaluate and validate neural networks for the purpose of estimating the quality of products in real time and, using our product, our customers can easily deploy models into production with just a few mouse clicks. We are heavily invested in the AI space and have presented multiple times at NeurIPS, the world's leading AI conference. Brevetti AI was founded by Michael Sass Hansen and Sebastian Brandes. Michael holds a PhD degree in Machine Learning from DTU and has been a postdoctoral researcher at Harvard University for two years after his PhD studies. He has subsequently worked with applying deep learning for self-driving vehicles in the agricultural industry and fingerprint scanners for biometric verification. Sebastian holds an M.Sc. degree in Economics and Quantitative Methods and has worked for Microsoft for 4 years where he ultimately held the position as the IoT Lead in Denmark. At Brevetti AI, we focus on building a strong product the makes a significant difference for our customers while having fun at the same time. We have beers every Friday and, once a year, we take the whole company to the world's leading AI conference, NeurIPS. In 2019 we went to Vancouver in Canada and had a couple of days of skiing in Whistler before the conference.
