Thus the wheeled cargo Registration (identification) and tracking: we have adopted the existing concept of purchasing tickets, security checks and enhanced it to become more efficient in identification and tracking with the help of our platform  Feedback and reviews: we made it very easy to get review and feedback all in one data pool for the leadership to weigh and measure  Entry to harbors or plant: we have redesigned the port to be more permeable not only to our idea but also to the fast growing technologies in the maritime industry, the existing infrastructure and design is very rigid and allows no room for expansion the port management system. for this matter, at first sign from a novice, it will be clear as sun that our design outperforms any existing designs of port or any improvements attempts in every angle.

Flowplan

Flowplan is offering an IoT solution for remote water management, specifically for water consuming HoReCa machinery, e.g. coffee machines, dishwashers and ice machines. The solution consists of both hardware and software and together offers the most advanced IoT solution available on the market. More or less all these machines are equipped with a water filter that filter out calcium and magnesium, to avoid scale buildup. They have to be changed dependent on water hardness and filter type. Currently service companies change them based on rough estimates or even guesses - leading to huge filter waste, unnecessary driving and often scale buildup in the expensive machines. By monitoring all consumption, transmitting it wirelessly and analyzing data, we predict exactly when the filters are due, and let the service companies know. This way we ensure all filters are changed on time, not too soon or too late. Besides optimizing water filters, we are using machine earning and AI to analyze consumption data and gain valuable insights for the users to act upon. Our mission is to change the water filter market. Reduce the enormous filter (and money) waste, and ensure no machines break down due to scale buildup. We are a young team with experience from the industry, where the problem has been a long-standing problem.

Every year, about 1,1 million Swedes change jobs. In addition, about 1,8 million Swedes want to change jobs, but don't. What's the reason people want to change jobs? They either don't thrive in their workplaces, aren't happy with their managers or don't have the right conditions to develop. So why don't they just change jobs? It's not always that easy. People don't know what to do instead, perceive a job change as a too big of a risk and simply can't find jobs to apply for. Even though these problems exist, the labor market hasn't undergone any big changes recently. Employers are still using temporary solutions like staffing agencies and are often outsourcing recruitment processes. For job seekers, there is still a jungle out there. It's hard to find jobs, and the required effort to apply for a job is often exhausting and and overly complicated. And the biggest issue of all - organizations are recruiting in a way contrary to what research and science suggest. Think about how many jobs you have applied for where an attached CV has been required? Pretty much every process, right? According to studies, a recruitment process starting the selection based on CV tend to have a predictive validity below 50 %. By being only online-based we are able to offer the tours at a lower price than our competitors, while at the same time include more awesome activities. We offer individual tours and group tours, and specialize in combining the two to always be able to offer the exact type of tour our travellers dream of. Our groups consist of travellers from different nationalities, allowing for a more rewarding experience as our travellers hence get to learn about many different cultures and backgrounds while having the time of their lives backpacking in a foreign country. We have travelled to all the destinations we currently have, and are therefor able to advise our travellers in-depth with a personal touch. We have a passion for the worlds different cultures and have a condition of constantly ´Itchy feet´. Having been in operation for just over a year, we have proved the business model and experienced promising traction. The objective is now to scale the business and our ambitions are ridiculously high - but hey why shouldn’t they be? Our most limited ressource now is time. The Pitch We help generate positive societal impact by changing people’s financial behavior. The What According to the UNCTAD (UN Conference on Trade and Development) World Investment Report from 2014, the total annual investments in SDG-relevant sectors in developing countries will need to be between $3.3 trillion and $4.5 trillion in order to meet the SDGs by 2030. Such estimates mean there is an annual financing gap of $2.5 trillion between current funding and what is required. The public sector is already doing a lot but to close this large gap, will require a major investment of resources from many actors, particularly from the private sector. The capital is already there. What’s needed is for that capital to find a home in well-designed, viable projects. In order to move this capital, the private sector will need to take financial action. People have the desire to take action but need help to do so. This is where MakeImpact will play an important role – helping people who want to make a difference through impact investing. The How We believe that there are 3 ways to help change people’s financial behavior in order to create a substantial positive societal impact Through Education: The more you know about making a positive impact, the better suited you are to actually do it. Through Investing: In order to help close the SDG financing gap with the use of private capital, investing your money in sustainable companies that work for a better future is the way forward. Through Tracking of Investments: Tracking your investments and becoming aware of which investments are sustainable or not will make you want to learn more about other companies that have a sustainable agenda and thereby re-educating yourself and potentially making more impact investments. In order to achieve the greatest behavioral change, these 3 will all need to be tied together – allowing people, in the best way possible, to change their financial behavior towards a better societal impact The Why We saw a need to help the non-investors getting started on their impact investing journey using the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a framework. The team currently consists of 17 passionate, innovative and purpose-driven people that help building a solution where the non-investor can use their money to make an impact in the world.
