Erfaringen som messearrangør kommer først fra 5 år som ansatt hos Norges Varemesse på Lillestrøm, og dernest 4 år som utstillingssjef hos en av Norges ledende kongressarrangører. De siste årene har Mads Vold jobbet med et eget messekonsept og Gründermessen ble lansert i April 2013 med gjennomføring i november samme år (se www.grundermessen.no). Gründermessen har siden blitt en suksess med gjennomføring i Bergen, Trondheim og Oslo og får svært gode tilbakemeldinger fra både besøkende og utstillere. I løpet av disse 10 årene har Mads Vold vært ansvarlig for planlegging og gjennomføring av et 50 talls messer og utstillinger i ulike størrelser.
