Researchers and practitioners in the field of design and health work more closely together to create welfare technologies that are intended to increase the quality of life of the citizen. Encope is an assistive technology in an app with the aim to support the coping skills of an epileptic after a rehabilitation course at the Epilepsy Hospital, Filadelifa. Currently, the patients at Filadelfia are experiencing challenges regarding the use of the learned strategies and tools after the rehabilitation course, returning to their everyday environment. Encope helps to structure and visualize the individuals energy level, fatigue and daily activities. The user has the responsibility to reflect on his own condition, to avoid being overstimulated.

Founded by Theresa Harmanen and Claudia Menger in 2018, Sanga Yoga is your home for yoga for pregnancy, postpartum and fertility. Sanga Yoga was born out of our need for community and finding a more therapeutic, feminine approach to yoga for major transitions and changes in life, such as pregnancy and postpartum, as well as parenthood and fertility. We turned that need into local studio yoga classes in and around Oslo, as well as private sessions and workshops, and are now also creating an online space for these practices.

One investor and one tech-head came together to create a better ecosystem for investors. Having first hand experience as investors in early stage startups we have felt some pain points that we aim to solve. First of all, like most investors, we are in continuous conversations with our network. Secondly we encourage having a systematic approach to evaluate startups in order to eliminate decisions based on gut feeling and unconscious bias. Our software aims to solve these two problems, and is designed to be an easy-to-use tool for investors to use on the go, and to lower the threshold for curious investors-to-be to enter the market. We currently have a working MVP in production that is being used by a handful of pilot customers. Our goal for the next four months is to work closely with these, participate in their events and courses, and shape Notata around their needs. Because of this early nature of our company, ideas, concepts and feature needs is continuously changing, and we are looking for agile and creative people that can join us in these conversations and produce/suggest their own tasks that is needed to meet our overall goals. 1: Short description ARETE is developing a matchmaking platform for CS:GO to help hardcore gamers become better players with a role-based rating- and division-system. 2: The What: What are we solving We severely lack player agency in Counter-Strike. For almost as long as Counter-Strike has existed, there has been an unwritten understanding that there are roles. The problem is that there is no way of teaching these roles and no way of being rewarded for performing them. All players are rewarded the same - like a goalkeeper equally being rewarded for scoring goals. The different responsibilities are not seen statistically and players don't know what to expect of themselves and of others. This is something that affects all amateur players without coaches and managers around them - and no one else is doing anything about it. 3: The How: How we solve this Our solution is to build a platform where players can choose a role with a selection of tasks and responsibilities, play a match where the team of strangers around the player is composed of other roles that complement each other and after the match get rewarded for the specific tasks the player was responsible for. This will give more player agency, bring better and clearer communication, and more importantly - it will make them feel useful. 4: The Why: What motivated us to get started I have competed in Counter-Strike competitively for 10 years and during all this time it's been a real struggle for me personally to try and play outside team practice. I knew what my role was, but I had no way of efficiently training when my teammates weren't around. I want to create an environment where players can become who they are meant to be and focus their efforts.
