Large companies invest considerable resources in creating internal communication (intranet, newsletters, talks, training) to inform and educate their employees and build their culture. But employees are already exhausted by how much email and communications they receive and often they don’t have time to stay in the loop with the company beat. Especially growth companies which onboard up to 100 employees in a year will have a difficult time maintaining their original culture and need to invest significant time and money in ensuring the employees share the company values. Even for existing employees, tacit knowledge is only shared in small groups and when requested, but fails to be communicated across the entire organisation. The solution to this problem is using audio as a new medium for communication, culture development and knowledge sharing. Our solution allows communication teams and any employee to record, edit and publish audio content without needing prior training. The content is published in a private internal podcast platform, where employees can feel safe to discuss their work and where the company can reinforce their values and maintain a healthy culture.

Shades of Love

SHADES OF LOVE collects new and used sunglasses and distributes them in remote high mountain regions. In the Himalayas and the Andes, the majority of the population lives in extremely remote regions at an altitude of 2,500 to 6,500 meters. They are exposed to harmful UV rays all year round. Even when it’s cloudy, the UV-radiation penetrates these high-altitude areas. The unique geological and climatic conditions make the sun exposure there so incomparably dangerous. In these heights, the UV filter of the atmosphere is 5 kilometres shorter, than under ‘normal’ conditions. Up to 80% of the population suffers from eye diseases, blindness, or cancer in their lifetime. Many indigenous people fall victim to eye diseases before they turn 30 years old. Some of these diseases are even deadly. Normally, they lead to blindness. Consequently, many can no longer pursue their work, due to blindness and are thus threatened in their existence. It is scientifically proven that living in high altitude correlates strongly with visual impairment. It’s also proven that quality sunglasses can mitigate infection risks and rates. We have distributed hundred thousands of sunglasses to people in the most remote high-altitude regions in the world to prevent the issue and its consequences. We also conduct eye surgeries together with local and foreign doctors to not only prevent, but also cure ocular diseases. Since the start of our project we have expanded and moved beyond the Himalayas to help as many people in need as possible.

Kubell Audio

Kubell Audio is a DTU based Audio startup, creating a modular, easy to use audio system empowering hobbyist musicians & upcoming artists. Through the last 10 years, the internet has enabled a revolution in the music industry, making it much easier for independent musicians to create and share their music on social platforms like soundcloud. This is however a completely different story when it comes to the artist's ability to perform live, and share their music with people in the real world. Here, the only available Live audio equipment is wired, complicated and extremely time consuming to use and set up - which works directly against the artists wishes of spontaneous creativity and independence of the musical industry. We wanted to change this, and create an audio product that enabled this spontaneous freedom for live audio. We therefore created and patented an intelligent (patent pending), completely wireless audio system - where powerful speakers add on modules (such as microphones and guitar modules) are easily snapped together, and automatically set up by the system in seconds - enabling everyone to easily share their music and interact with fans through their beloved medium of music. Beyond our initial Kickstarter launch, we are looking to revolutionize the Live audio industry globally, by empowering musicians, and enabling them to become, and stay independent.

The new legislation is for a good purpose, creation of a level playing field for e-merchants from different countries with uniform rules with brick-and-mortar retailers. The end-to-end solution automates all obligatory processes, VAT payment, IOSS compliance and ICS2 legislation creating a seamless and fast delivery without hassles. The authorities and posts have novel, free and efficient tools for monitoring and review of the shipments.

Unde

Unde is on a mission to disrupt piracy and at the same time adding a new layer to the customer experience by giving each product a digital identity and a history to be told, where you as a consumer is an actor contributing to this story. Through this, we are also opening up a global marketplace for sales of artisan and luxury goods, increasing transparency and significantly lowering risk of piracy. The Unde-product will be built using blockchain and AI in a wonderful mixture. The founders of Unde have more than 80 years collective experience within tech, digital and retail. We are currently in stealth mode but are set to launch the beta during winter 2020.

Green Pleasure Aps

Green Pleasure bridge the connection between European farmers and consumers on the most vital food product: Fresh Produce. Our goal is to take the consumption of fresh produce to a even higher level, by raising the quality Barr. At the same time we save the environment from a huge carbon emission, by bringing fresh produce "from the land to the table", without any detour from retail stocks, ripening rooms or other cooling facilities. We carefully select all our suppliers and only maintain a dialog if the production is sustainable or organic. We are aiming at constantly adding new competences to our staff, in order to maintain a leading position in the industry. The human concern and care towards the environment also include our stakeholders such as our staff, suppliers and partners. Our highly experienced staff make sure our produce are harvested when the taste, juice content and shelf life are optimum - which gives us a competitive advantage - and at the same time create a higher demand for fresh produce. Chromologics

Chromologics is a Danish biotech spin-out from the Technical University of Denmark. We have developed a fungal biotech platform for the production of novel, natural colorants. Our proprietary fermentation process allows us to be first movers to introduce lab-grown food colorants to the market. Our production is sustainable, scalable and cost-competitive. Unlike other existing natural colors, our colorants are not extracted from high value raw materials like fruit and vegetables, but produced by our wild type cell factory. Our fungal strains are non-GMO and our pigments are compatible with most dietary needs, including kosher, halal, and vegan diets. We are in the R&D phase.
