Roccamore

Roccamore is a high-end shoe brand on a mission to make the most comfortable high heels on the market today. We launched with a Kickstarter campaign in Dec. 2014 that got 220% funded. We are constantly growing and just about to launch our next collection all over Europe.We are a small team of good people, based in our office on Vester Voldgade, Copenhagen.

Identitrade

Identitrade seeks to improve the way online merchants and service providers enroll, verify and charge consumers by facilitating the exchange of authentication, personal and payment data. Identitrade seeks to be the leading global exchange for identity authentication, as well as providing third parties easy access to account and payment service providers for account information and payment initiation.  Identitrade is the leading marketplace for identity authentication and payment initiation. We are process driven and build our infrastructure in modules where everything we do is scalable and lean. We are living in an ever changing environment where we constantly iterate and test new product hypotheses to achieve stronger product market fit. We believe in giving team members two things: 1) a feeling of participating in achieving a greater goal and 2) a clear space in which members are empowered to contribute to that goal.We offer clear ownership in different areas, but we share our input and feedback openly. We take meetings outdoors and often work out together.At Identitrade, we question everything. We constantly ask ourselves, can more companies use our platform? How can the model be improved? How can we make our product valuable to more actors in the fintech ecosystem?

But here’s what keeps people coming back to Fishbrain: It’s an angling community. And that gets at our mission. With 200 million people sport fishing around the world, we’re connecting anglers to make fishing dreams come true, today and tomorrow. Some of us are anglers. Some of us are parents. All of us are human. And we're also passionate about the outdoors and conservation. Together, we work to bring you the best app for fishing, hands down. There's a lot of thought and effort and fun that goes into that. Some of us work from Stockholm, Sweden. Some of us work from boats, casting lines and going to fishing tournaments. The office people and the boat people make sure to talk a lot. That's how we keep it real. We believe that it's more fun to brag about a catch with people who care about fishing. These people are often called anglers. You may think that's obvious, being an angler yourself. But on Fishbrain, your catch doesn't go head-to-head with cats doing backflips, or toddlers feeding chocolate cake to their baby sisters. For us, respecting the environment is about balance. We believe in catch & release and the sustainable harvest of fish species. Because when it comes to the outdoors, tomorrow matters too. Don't get us wrong - we're all for hard work, pre-dawn wakeups to get to a fishing spot, and getting our hands dirty. But if there's a smarter way to fish, we're on it. The office has windows, multiple coffee machines, and a team of amazing people working inside it. It's also cubicle-free. We are an online service for housing sublets. Qasa is a startup aiming to change the dynamics of long-term housing rentals. Think of it as of an Airbnb for long-term housing making the market more accessible, transparent and safe. Our tools help you find the right tenant, manage contracts, payments and anything else you might find difficult with your rental.

Mondido Payments

Mondido is a payment service for e-commerce. Mondido enables clients to increase sales by reducing the amount of failed payments and through optimizing the transaction flow. Mondido offers a simple and fast way to start accepting payments on websites and mobile applications while offering smart features for analyzing and increasing sales. Merchants and web shops can get up and running with payments fast and effective using hosted payment windows, JavaScript forms and API integrations.  Mondido is nothing without our customers. Every feature we develop is based on client needs. We listen very carefully to the market and what we should work on to ensure we deliver excellent value. Further, the customer gets all the power: we never demand them to use our logo in their store or anything like that - our clients should own the experience.  We are driven by innovation, and we want to do things differently and break norms. We are all experts in our fields, and we offer lots of freedom as well as responsibility. We want to be solution-oriented and informal in how we work. Instabridge

Instabridge is an app that helps users find places with fast and free internet, to help the four billion people without good internet access get online. In total, over two million people are using Instabridge to get online. The strongest communities are in emerging markets such as Brazil, Mexico, and India. The company was founded in 2012 and is headquartered in Stockholm. The app is available for Android and iOS, and can be found on either the Google Play or Apple App Store.  Our team consists of very open-minded and flexible bunch of multinational individuals. Everyone is involved in decision making and embraces the team. No one is a rockstar alone, but together we create magic. We are very focused when we work together at the office. We need to have a little bit of structure as we want to deliver results and make wifi accessible to everyone everywhere. Every Friday, we discuss the goal of the company and how we’re doing over a nice breakfast. In between hard work, we have a lot of fun. Every Thursday is Instabridge-Thursday: we go out for a beer, paintball, laser game or something like that. Wednesday is our active day when we go out running together. We are a well-integrated team, and we value cultural fit. That is the single most important thing for us, and that we are all following our values and act accordingly. We are good; we are fearless, and we are focused. Stay outside the comfort zone, and good things will happen.

XMReality

We enable large companies to solve their problems faster out in the field as well as preventing problems using Augmented Reality (AR). We allow businesses to save costs, open up new revenue streams opportunities and improve service quality. We have worked with large enterprises such as Tetra Pak and Volvo, and we have a strong global presence with purchase orders from all continents. Our revenue has been growing around 200% and in a few months, we are launching our iOS offering. Our values are based on simplicity, innovation, and efficiency. We need to be the most adaptable technical solution on the market and deliver top-notch value.   As our team is rapidly growing, we need to have defined roles even though everyone is still involved in strategic decisions and has an impact on the future of the company. We have different experiences both regarding amount of time but also abilities, which creates a complemented team. Further, we are very goal driven, and we carefully measure our KPIs on a monthly basis to make sure we are going in the right direction. We are an informal group, and we tend to solve problems as we go, but we are here to grow. Next year, we see the company grow with 100%, expanding the team from 15 to 30 people. To us, it all comes down to two things: do the right things and do the things right. It’s as simple as that.

Optolexia

Optolexia offers a new method for early and reliable detection of dyslexia. We use eye tracking and machine learning to identify patterns that are unique in kids with characteristics of dyslexia. We started in Sweden, in schools and municipalities, and we are right now introducing our method in new, international markets such as France and Dubai. We are a team consisting of researchers, developers, teachers, and marketers. We are all experts in our specific fields and complement each other well. Everyone does what they do best, and therefore we base our work on trust. Our vision is clear: every child with reading and writing difficulties should get support from early on, and consequently have full access to the written word. We base our offering on science so evidence and research are important to us. We maintain a very informal tone at the office, and we offer flexible work hours and location. We need to approach our customers differently depending on the industry, but we aim to speak their language and understand their challenges. Our expertise and shared vision of making education accessible to everyone, with or without difficulties, are what define us.

Fresh.Land

Fresh.Land is a startup with a new model for the food industry. We developed a pioneering platform that shortens and digitizes the food supply chain. It allows farmers to sell fresh products directly to consumers, using the trees as their “warehouse” and cutting 3-5 middlemen. Our platform provides all the logistics, payment, legal, and knowledge required in one integrated solution. Fresh.Land was coined “truly pioneering” (WWF) and “one of the most promising green startups in Denmark” (Forbes). Our disruptive idea won the European Youth Award (Austria), EcoSummit Gold Winner (Germany), Nordic Cleantech Open (Sweden), WWF Climate Solver Award (Denmark), Portugal Digital Awards (Portugal), and Green Tech Challenge (Denmark). We have offices in Copenhagen and Portugal. The company is profitable and growing at a very fast pace. We are preparing to launch commercially in 8 EU countries. The management team includes former senior McKinsey consultants and senior executives from the food industry, with a proven track-record in building and exiting successful companies in the past. According to WWF, “Fresh.Land can save 88% of CO₂ from storage and reduce food waste by 10%, saving 12.7 million tons of CO₂ annually by 2026”. Our just-in-time model is at the forefront of the green transition in the food industry and fostering a shift to a more plant-based diet.

ftrack

ftrack is cloud-based collaboration for creative companies, and we aim to simplify the process from pitch to screen. It enables users to set up projects, allocate tasks, track their work, make notes together - all in the same space. ftrack offers more insight into the process, such as how much time they spend in different areas, resulting in a clear project overview and better time management.We have clients from about 60 countries, and our largest markets are in the US, the UK, and Germany. Our team focuses on the success of our customers - we make sure that we develop features that can help them reach their goals. It is important for us to focus on the right things as we see results immediately. To do so, we need to interact with our clients, which we do by for instance chatting and answering our phones any time of the day. In the beginning, we worked so hard for something for a long time, but everything improved when we started with one simple thing: listening to our customers. ftrack is a flat organization, and we give the opportunity to work from home on Thursdays. Work balance is important to us, and our business is built on trust. Everything we do can be done from anywhere, but we like spending time together at the office. Sometimes we go to the cinema after work, and we arrange internal hackathons.
