Wildfires are a deadly symptom of global warming. They are cause of a great environmental impact, destroying wildlife and flora. In the bushfires of Australia in the winter of 2019/2020, 12 million ha. were burned away and 100 Billion AUS were spend in damages and firefighter efforts. Due to the rapid evolution and speed of wildfires, firefighters are looking for technologies to provide data on how best to combat the wildfires. Current wildfire data gethering, using satellites, planes, helicopters, and manually controlled drones, is time consuming, rescource heavy, and provides inaccurate data. Moreover, reconnaissance operations from helicopters and planes are very dangerous, and stands for 24% of deaths in wildfire operations. We have developed an autonomous wildfire recognition and analytics drone, AWRA. This will provide the user with an out-of-box method for fast and accurate data gathering and monitoring of the wildfire. The user will utilize a tablet to mark an area for the drone to search in, and will receive real-time feedback regarding the location, size, intensity, and direction of the wildfire. Giving the firefighters back the initiative, and allow them for faster smarter descision making, ultimately extinquishing the wildfires faster. But our product can also solve many other real-world problems, such as Oil Spill Reconnaissance, Search and Rescue, First Responder, and Infrastructure Inspection.

QDevil has the aim of enhancing the science in quantum electronics labs, by enabling scientists to focus their effort on the science, instead of constructing auxiliary equipment that already has been developed in other labs. The products of QDevil have been used and thoroughly tested in some of the world’s leading quantum electronics labs. The initial product of QDevil is the QFilter, which has been developed and tested at Harvard University and University of Copenhagen for over five years.

Virksomhederne vil bruge platformen som et lead genererings værktøj til nemt og billigt at tage nye graduates ind. Queue is a music app that changes the way in which we listen to music together. In the 21st century, most people have a mobile phone and easy access to music on demand. People therefore develop their own individual taste in music and the music we listen to has become an important part of our identity. The fact that music preferences may be very different even within a homogeneous group of people has changed the music experience at parties. Satisfying music expectations has become a huge challenge and often the party host will have spent many hours worrying and trying to create the perfect playlist for the party. Still, many of the guests will constantly be dissatisfied with the music playing. They want their own favourite song to play and will try to find a way of changing the music. Since current music streaming apps like Spotify are designed for singular use, they are not suitable for multiple people adding songs to the playlist at the same time. Such use can therefore cause the whole queue to mess up and suddenly, songs will be repeated, or completely random music will play. The party host will then have to spend time fixing the problem while the guests are complaining, and the party atmosphere is destroyed. The solution is Queue – a music app that changes the way in which we listen to music together. The mission of Queue is to create a new way of playing music during parties and other get-togethers which eliminates all the stress and frustrations described above. When using Queue the question is no longer “Who controls the music, and how can I change it?” but instead “Which music do I wish to share with these people?” Queue enables this shift in focus by creating a live collaborative playlist in form of an app that is optimized for multi-person use instead of singular use like the current music applications on the market.

Let's plant 100 million trees on coffee farms!! LeafUp is a global movement, started in Oslo, to protect the environment and help coffee farmers earn a fair wage. As teenagers working on coffee farms across Peru, we saw firsthand how unfair it can be. The same coffee we were harvesting and selling in town for 20 NOK a kilo was being sold to people just like our families in California for more than 200 NOK a kilo. For us, this isn't only about coffee. It's about connecting some of the least privileged people in the developed world with some of the most privileged people in the developed world through this crazy drink we all rely on. With LeafUp, we hope to bring coffee lovers into closer contact with the farmers who produce it and allow them to protect the environment at the same time.
