There are million of business news each year about tens of thousands of companies, but people hear only about the several few flagship companies. This is not enough for being truly informed decisions. Once we can see what all these thousands of companies are doing or expect of their sales, orders, production etc we are able to understand economy and make better decisions faster. Our target user is a semi-pro investor whom we we want to reach through brokers. The user is a busy professional or entrepreneur with a busy life style. He’s between 20 and 50 years of age, and he thinks that asset managers are too expensive. Besides he likes stock picking as an intellectual challenge. He usually holds 20-30 stocks in an internationally diversified portfolio and makes hundreds of trades per year. Currently he uses mostly Yahoo Finance, but it does not solve his problem. His biggest problem is lack of time and no tools. Moreover, professional terminal with business news is much too expensive. Kontoor will provide him news analytics and explain what has impacted the prices making analysis much easier at very low cost. Chemical heating pouches are the only alternatives that can be integrated to pre-packed packages, but they are expensive, hard to dispose and have caused cases of explosion. Many companies and organizations such as World Food Program, Unites Nations and some food manufacturers have reported that they have not found so far a real lightweight, portable and safe solution to heat or cook the food or water. As a result for example emergency meals are eaten cold and outdoor shower water in a refugee camps is often cold. There are also companies that are looking for a "field solution" to heat up their non-food material for example for healthcare such as cast and orthosis, that currently is heated with bulky electrical equipment. That is a problem, since especially in the crisis situations lightweight equipment would be preferred. SolFoil creates new patented and tested solar heating and cooking solutions to meet existing needs in the outdoor, crisis and emergency and peacekeeping and military field. We have an ongoing Tempo project and we have already received solar heating film that is needed in all our products. Soon we will receive first industrially manufactured prototypes of first product, solar heated water pouch. Water heating is a common challenge in many fields. For example dry-meal companies have a problem that their customers won't always carry heavy equipment for heating the water needed in the meals, and then eat the meals cold. Meals would taste much better when they are warm, and that is why their customers buy less dry-meals. By using ultra-compact and safe water heating pouch they can enjoy a warm meal instead of a cold one. Ideal user is someone, who cannot carry heavy equipment for heating the water that is needed in the dry meals, coffee etc, or is outdoors in the areas where using grills or cookers is not allowed due to risk of fire. The person can be for example hiker, mountaineer or someone going to the park. Water heating is a problem also in crisis and emergencies and peacekeeping and military. In the later phase we create also application for example for outdoor shower bags and water sterilization for the real needs. Now we are seeking €250K for piloting with the water heating pouch matched with Business Finland R&D&Piloting funding.

A team of experts was brought together with deep knowledge in their respective field in order to solve this challenge and develop the future chain of custody in anti-doping. The first market segment of the company is for doping control in human sports, followed by an equestrian sports segment. A third segment will be solutions addressing work-place testing operations. Expanding the system, Validicity can basically serve any vertical that needs a secure supply chain such as pharma, food, toxic waste and high-end goods. Diamond Scout was founded in the spring of 2019 after one of our co-founders had a great deal of trouble finding the right engagement ring for his current wife through Danish jewelry stores. He therefore ended up on an American affiliate site where, with the help of their good advice, he found a ring from one of their jewelry partners. Based on this experience, it became clear to him how difficult a process it is to find the right ring and that you typically end up paying an overprice for jewelries. Based on his experience with the American company, he was inspired to start a similar company in Europe. Today this company is called Diamond Scout and aims to make it easy and transparent to choose the perfect diamond ring. We are still in the very early stages and currently lack a director who can get the company up and running.
