Lifecaddy Health is developing a new digital ecosystem enabling users to manage their own health information in an easy way, independent of their location or activity. Personal health data is the most important currency we have. Today health information is scattered, static, incomplete and hard to understand. Some information is managed by different health care providers with limited accessibility for the patient while other information and health data is collected by patients themselves but cannot be shared with their health care provider. Lifecaddy enables the user to be the owner of their health information by collecting it on one platform. It allows them to share their information with whom they choose and bring it with them wherever they go. In addition, Lifecaddy not only allows the user to manage their own health information, but also keeping track of their family members’ vaccines and children’s development. Working in health care as well as being patients ourselves, we recognize the frustration and insecurities caused when one is not able to know, understand and provide health information. We are convinced that a simple, digital tool to collect and control one’s own health information is the way to tackle this issue.
