Syncsense

We are combating age-related inactivity. Through the development of the next generation of virtual reality therapeutics, we strive to prevent inactivity and sensory deprivation. We specialize in the development of active virtual reality for institutionalized elderly. We have made a sensor that we place on exercise equipment from which the motion data is transmitted wirelessly to a virtual reality headset and subsequently used to gamify experiences for our users.

Guldsmeden hotels

Guldsmeden Hotels is a sustainable hotel chain with 13 locations all around the world. We have always had a preference for local and sustainable products – especially those that we eat and drink. Overall, sustainability for us is the fundamental element of our entire operation, and no decision is made, a production started, or a new process was introduced without the sustainability angle having defined it first. It is our first priority that sets all the goals. We are committed to giving our guests a wonderful stay with as little negative environmental impact as possible while contributing to the common pool of knowledge regarding sustainable practices within daily operations. As a company founded in an entrepreneurial spirit, we are in constant development – but as we have just opened a new hotel, Bryggen Guldsmeden, we are starting over and with the spirit of a start-up, we are looking to get a marketing team together to help not only promoting the newly started Bryggen, but also the rest of our lovely hotels.

HISTORY: The idea came a year ago, after a few years of owning & running a successful women's designer vintage clothing store in Copenhagen. Observed how COVID19 affected consumer spending and surge in e-commerce. Inquiries about alternative payment solutions. Consistent increased sales, consumer excitement and interest focused on luxury branded bags. THE BUSINESS IDEA IN A NUTSHELL: Building a community-driven marketplace, facilitating buying and trading exclusive luxury designer bags, thus empowering members within a circular retail model, run by female entrepreneurs. PROBLEM, SOLUTIONS AND VALUE CREATION: People are looking for designer luxury bags, especially in Denmark. The consumer market for luxury bags is a 2.4 USD billion industry worldwide. However, current options for luxury bags can be expensive or “cheap”, low quality unverified or unqualified resellers. Alternatively, they are fakes or non-sustainable high street options. Sustainability awareness is forecast to increase in luxury fashion. Furthermore, there is an increased preference to trusted brands. Through our platform, we give access to luxury! Our goal is to amplify an existing & growing community. Key to success will be inclusivity and access, giving all income group consumers across Denmark a platform to buy, rent, sell and trade their luxury items. Through paid membership tiers, we provide early access to events, sales, discounts and financial incentives. We provide consumers from different income brackets access to luxury items via new financial incentives eg. rental, monthly instalments and exchange initiatives COVID has increased e-commerce spend. It has also decreased small brand sales and increased luxury brand focus. This change in mindset is accelerating the sustainable fashion trends. The market share for vintage and second hand industry has increased exponentially the last few years and expected to overtake consumer spending on new fashion in the next decade. We want to offer an affordable solution - new ways of shopping, giving access to luxury products and building a digital community.

IVAR Studios is the leading immersive production agency within the live-action storytelling space in the Nordics. Karma Mobil AB

Karma Mobil AB is a new mobile operator on the Swedish market. Our mission is to make digital life easier for those who needs it the most. Our target group is people who because of age or other reasons feel uncomfortable to use digital solutions or are unaware of the aids that exists. The purpose with Karma Mobil is to enlighten our target group of the possibilities and assist them in becoming more digital. By doing this we will help them, and their families, to make day-to-day activities simpler. Karma Mobil’s offer consists of a mobile subscription packaged with a number of add-on services. To make senior citizens feel more comfortable being digital, we include a service for ID protection. With the ID protection, the customer gets for example notified and assistance if their social security number, bank account, credit card or e-mail address is fraudulently used online. We offer this solution together with our partner MinUC which we have an exclusive agreement with. Apart from the ID protection service, Karma Mobil AB are in discussions with other possible partner companies who provide different solutions for people with special needs. The solutions varies but common for them is that they bring support for individuals and the families. One example is to keep contact and plan for day-to-day activities over a digital platform. In addition to the digital to digital services, we also offer our customers a blog where topics in relation to our target group is covered. By this, our customers can get insight and inspiration to become more active – both digitally and in “real life”. Karma Mobil has also signed up with a couple of partners with discounts and offers specifically for our target group. The purpose of this is to create a feeling of community and recognition for our target group. As a new player on the Swedish telco market, we focus on a target group that does not get much attention. Instead of marketing Karma as “cheap” and “easy” (even if we are) our message is that we care. We show this to our customer by having competitive rates and subscriptions that includes something else than just the ordinary mobile services. We also show that we care by having a staffed support organisation which can be reached by phone, chat or social media. We are on a journey from being brand new on the market, unknown to anyone to become the obvious Mobile operator for those who appreciate extra care.

Spectro Inlets ApS

Mission: We provide real-time and accurate measurement solutions to optimize environmental and chemical processes to achieve a greener, cleaner world. Vision: Making mass spectrometry accessible to everyone for any test environment. Description: Using our proprietary microchip inlet technology, we are able to bring mass spectrometers out of the laboratory and into the real-world. We already provide benchtop analysis systems for electrochemistry and battery research which we sell to research institutions around the world. We have tested and are currently developing the commercial version of an online industrial sensor version of our system for real-time measurements in biogas production facilities and wastewater treatment plants.

Mutual Benefits Group, MBE

1. In Mutual Benefits Group we aim to improve properties and society’s climate impact by AI. The tool DEEP (Digitized Energy Efficiency Portal), has been developed by SUCITY* to optimize buildings and its equipments energy performance with Machine Learning in real time to help property owners and tenants to understand and improve their energy consumption. Today we work together with Chalmers (Digitalisation/AI) and RISE (Energy Management) with support from VGR and EU. *Organized under MBE until investor is chosen. 2. DEEP utilize adaptive AI control instead of manual analysis and control. Results in lower energy consumption, lower cost, risk mitigation if co-workers quit and less climate impact. Investments in energy efficiency also stimulate the economy, in particular the construction industry, which generates about 9% of Europe’s GDP and directly accounts for 18 million direct jobs. MBE together with other SMEs(Small and Medium sized Enterprizes) would particularly benefit from a boosted renovation market, as they contribute more than 70% of the value added in the EU building sector. (EC, Energy performance of buildings) DEEP stimulates to tangible optimization in the company Time saving - relieves employees up to 60% to do other important things. Energy & Cost Savings - in addition to 15-50% energy savings, data collection and Nudging employees give the choice to compare and suggest installation of concrete Turnkey solutions themselves. DEEP contributes concretely to Agenda 2030 goals: 7 - Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all. 7.2 - Substantially increase the share of renewable energy in the global energy mix. 8 - Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all. 13.3 - Improve education, raise awareness and human and institutional capacity for adaptation, early warning indication, climate change mitigation measures and its consequences. 3. We have committed co-workers (MSc, PhD) within SW-dev, Test&Verification, Project management, Power Electronics and Quality assurance. We support the automotive industry amongst other technologies with Machine learning for Autonomus driving vehicles. We have performed a demo version of the DEEP tool at Derome Timber AB, sawing mill and are since 2019 performing a Pilot Case for Balder Fastighets AB for an office building of 4500 sqm in Gothenburg. The DEEP tool optimizes buildings energy efficiency by measurement, logging, analyzing and control the buildings equipment and manufacturing machines by AI. Large buildings* HVAC system are usually controlled by a PLC. DEEP communicates (read&write) with the PLC by OPC server, API or other interface. The data is stored in the MySQL database which is read from the AI-unit, who analyse the data through a data driven Deep Reinforcement Learning, DRL algorithm. The control signal is communicated to the PLC who controls the equipment. The DRL gets a positive or negative reward depending on the step. *Offices, Schools, Hospitals, Hotels, Industrial facilities, enough sized condonomiums. 4: The DEEP story 2017 we wanted to create an easy-to-understand product, with advanced technology, giving our property owners and tenants lower costs, improved climate impact and more time for important value-adding things. After several years in climate-smart real estate solutions, we found that property management could receive valuable support from AI-based tools that automatically identify the optimal where and when it shall control, and automatically does it. MBE has experience of technical assignments in autonomous driving vehicles. We are confident with AI algorithm development.
