Finnish Business Angels Network (FiBAN) is a non-profit association of private investors on a mission to inspire private investments. We design our products based on the idea that a RackBuddy is not “just” a clothes rack. It is a piece of furniture that can be used everyday and withstands the test of time. Children of Ash

Welcome to Children of Ash, an ongoing research project devoted to Viking ornamental art and its understanding. We are developing a new museum platform application designed to use technology as an interface to present academic research to museum visitors in a visually accessible and understandable way. Our focus is on the ornamental tradition of Late Iron Age Scandinavia, expressed as a proper language, with its 'vocabulary', 'grammar', 'syntax' and 'dialects', throughout its development. To achieve that, the original works found through archaeology are studied and 'digested' to extract their canons and underlying principles, which we present to in comprehensive visual breakdowns as well as detailed background information. A true glimpse into the Viking mind.

Talk Town

Talk Town er en folkelig debatfestival; en samtaleby om køn, ligestilling og feminisme; et forum for dialog på tværs af faglig og personlig erfaring; et sted for nysgerrighed, netværksdannelse og dialog. Festivalen er aktørbaseret i stil med folkemødet på Bornholm. Det vil sige, at den fungerer som en tværfaglig, social og kulturel ramme for organisationer, erhvervsliv, foreninger, græsrødder, aktivister, uddannelsesinstitutioner, engagerede borgere og internationale meningsdannere m.fl., hvori de kan bidrage med netop deres mærkesager. Talk Towns formål er at skabe en platform for netværk og dialog, hvor der er plads til uenighed og forskellige perspektiver, der kan mødes på kryds og tværs, men som alle peger ind i samme hovedvision; ligestilling. BAGGRUND Festivalen udspringer af Danmarks værtsskab for konferencen Women Deliver i 2016. Kulturproduktionskollektivet Indgreb ønskede at give den almene københavner adgang til de mange Women Deliver-delegerede, som repræsenterede ligestillingssagen globalt, og forankre de globale ligestillingsproblematikker, der blev behandlet på konferencen, i en dansk kontekst. Derfor kontaktede Indgreb Kvinderådet og gennem et stærkt samarbejde løb den første Talk Town af stablen i Kødbyen i 2016. Festivalen var egentlig kun tænkt til at finde sted en enkelt gang, men fremmødet og opbakningen var så stor, at festivalen vendte tilbage på Hovedbiblioteket i 2017, og igen i 2018 i Huset-KBH. I 2019 blev festivalen afholdt i Den Brune Kødby, hvor Talk Town samarbejdede med 75+ internationale og danske aktører, som præsenterede 100+ arrangementer for 3000 gæster. De sidste fire år har vist, at Talk Town er kommet for at blive. Således blev 2019 også året hvor Talk Town fik vokseværk, og foreningen Talk Town stolt kunne præsentere både 3-dagsfestival i København i maj og 1-dagsfestival i Århus i september. Derudover kuraterede Talk Town i 2019 talkprogrammet til projektet Kvinder I Centrum, som arrangeredes af spillestedet Forbrændingen i Albertslund. Som afslutning på dette projekt og samarbejde, præsenterede Talk Town en 1-dagsfestival på Forbrændingen d. 30. november

Nowadays everybody loves to travel and explore the world. Nobody wants to travel alone, but it can be hard finding someone to travel with. Especially women have a hard time finding female travel buddies. We want to solve this problem with Travelli. Travelli is an app that creates a female travellers universe by enabling women to explore the world together. The problem is solved by uniting female travellers in our app. No more missed opportunities to travel and wondering whether there’ll be a cool person to hang out with at the next hostel. With Travelli, women can discover the world together. The two features of our beta version; Near Me and Matched Trips make it possible for women to find travel companion both prior to and during their trips. Travelli completely disrupts the way women travel by facilitating an easy, convenient and safe way of travelling which leads to new connections, rich experiences and great travels.

It promotes human rights, democracy, gender equality and justice by providing the world with thought-provoking and investigative documentary films. It fights for freedom of media and free access to realible information for all and collaborates with public broadcasters, NGOs and educational institutions across all continents. The Why contributes to the UN SDGs by educating for sustainability and supporting free media.
