‘Drinkz’ is an intuitive app that lets people order and pay for drinks at high-end bars and nightclubs across the globe.With luxury and sophistication, a user can save time ordering a drink by simply choosing the venue & drink they want through their smartphone. A user can also send/buy drinks to friends cross-borders.Once a person has received a drink at a specific venue, they simply walk up to the bartender, show them their mobile phone, and with a tap on the screen, they get their drink. All payments are done on the phone through the user's credit card.At select venues, users can also pre-order drinks and get a push notification on their phone when the order is ready to be picked up.

Blok

Blok is a digital real estate agency for residential properties. Simply put, we help people buy and sell apartments. Why? Real estate transactions are notorious for being the largest and most stressful financial decisions we take during our lives. There are a lot of questions, uncertainty and the process has traditionally been opaque and costly. Our goal at Blok is to fix that by providing a transparent and cost-efficient service, where the customer feels that she’s in control. At the core, we’re a technology company, since we recognize that winning in this market requires us to augment the best real estate agents with the best technology. Our digital services enable us to give our customers a modern customer experience and provides massive operational efficiencies for our real estate agents, which saves time and money, both for us and our customers. Founded in 2017, the company has grown rapidly with apartments sold for the combined value of over 500 MEUR to date and employs over 32 people in Finland and Sweden. We’re backed by prominent Nordic and Swiss investors and our financial situation is solid. The Story Blok's story started from our own experiences in the real estate market. In January 2015 our CEO Rudi Skogman found his dream apartment. To afford it he had to sell his old flat. After some price negotiations the apartment was sold and the real estate agent cashed in a 7000 € commission. Afterwards Rudi started thinking if using an agent had been right choice after all. There had to be a better (and cheaper) way to sell apartments. In the spring of 2016 Rudi got the idea of using technology to automate most of the selling process. Soon after that Juha, Samu and Olli joined. Things started to fall in place: What if we would let the owner arrange viewings? What if bids could be made online? What if the home valuation would be done by an algorithm? What if the transaction cost was a bit more reasonable? After taking a leap of faith and founding Blok the service was officially launched in the spring of 2017. Since then the company has served thousands of home sellers and buyers across Finland and Sweden. The company has won recognition as one of the hottest startups in Europe (Wired) and as the best new web service of the year (Grand One). The Service Our apartment sales service provides an easy and seamless digital experience for selling and buying an apartment throughout the whole home buying and selling process: - The valuation service estimates the value of your apartment based on advanced algorithms and actual transactions. - The trading platform enables bidding for apartments electronically. - The agent service automates nearly all routine tasks of the real estate agent, making the whole process extremely cost-efficient. Our Etsivä service offers an unique way to buyers to find their dream apartment. The service looks for a suitable apartment among all existing apartments in the Helsinki Capital Region and can tell you how many actually exist, how many are sold per year and for what price. You can ask us to contact the owners of those apartments to check if they are interested in buying. Our digital services matched with our stellar customer service team has resulted in a world-class customer happiness which has steadily measured in the 80-90 range on the NPS scale.

For our B2C-partners it is a new way to transact and build loyalty with Generation Z and Y. Instead of a myriad of vendor loyalty programs without cause and low retention, we are gathering brands that want to communicate with its consumers on a deeper level. Open banking based loyalty programs have proven more than 3x efficiency over digital marketing alternatives (with ROAS as high as 30x). It’s powerful stuff. Our solution offers our partners both a new way to serve lapsed or at-risk customers with targeted rewards as well as anonymized insights into the values and real spending behaviour of specific audiences and markets (real world transactions speak louder than words, likes or shares). Our solution is a disruption of the traditional loyalty market, a $170bn global market, and acts as an efficient supplement to digital marketing/affiliate marketing and traditional B2C market research solutions. 🌍 Impact. Winnowave SL

Winnowave is developing wind concentrators - a vertical wall of shipping containers - to install in front of wind turbines to increase the wind speed experienced by the wind turbine and thereby inproving the energy production from the wind turbine. Our first minimum viable product is built from used or scrapped shipping containers installed just in front of a wind turbine on an uni-wind-directional site. Many wind turbines are currently installed on uni-wind-directional sites in for example Spain, Brazil, France or Mexico. CFD calculations and wind measurements have shown an increase in power production from the wind turbine at 30% on a flat site and significantly more when the wind turbine is situated on the top of a hill. When using scrapped containers, the businesscase is extremely good. It is a totally new technology and we have filed 8 patent applications. For a Vestas V-90 wind turbine we designed a container wall from 50 HQ containers with wire supports and earth anchors. It is designed according to the Euro code. Our customers are wind turbine operators and our first customer will most likely be Iberdrola, Enel, Actiona or EDF. They all showed much interest in our product. One founder, Peter Grabau, has optimized wind turbine blades for 30 years and looked for new ways to improve energy production. The other founder, Manuel Alcocer, has sold Vestas wind turbines in Brazil for 4 years and he found all sites to be uni-wind-directional why got the idea.

With a continuously increasing overproduction in the fashion industry, circularity is one of the most powerful models to make fashion truly sustainable. Cirqular is developing a tech platform for reselling and shopping pre-owned high-end fashion, making it easier than ever to resell clothes online, while providing a personalized shopping experience at par with the first-hand market. This will be done through a well curated platform with a stellar user experience, combined with integrated retailer and brand partnerships to automatically and virtually mirror our users’ physical wardrobes with pre-populated content, enabling sellers to generate attractive product listings with a click of a button and seamlessly sold at Cirqular.
