i-Sea started out as a consultancy shop in 2009. Yes, we're that old. On paper at least. We're still a bit crazy, very curious and not afraid to follow our own path. After doing a few large and small tech consultancy jobs, we started thinking there should be more to life than chasing the next job. We've had a few large marine consultancy jobs, and during those – learned a lot about nautical charts, tracking of boats and all things related. So we decided to do the very obvious thing, build Google Maps for the sea. After one year in the market, we've got a solid tech foundation with an in-house map production pipeline. We are well funded. Have 100 000 users across more than 10 countries. We've also got B2B projects going in parallel and have started building an advertisement platform for companies targeting boaters.

We offer new possibilities in the field of urban gardening. BEDD design, produce and sell modular raised garden bed systems in steel. Simple as Lego bricks and cool as Montana shelves.  The concept is developed in close collaboration with ByBye Design and our production partner is Tronrud Engineering in Moss, Norway. Since prototype launch in 2016, BEDD has experienced 3x growth every year. In 2019 our goal is to expand to 60 stores and launch a great self watering system for BEDD.  Our company vision is "Cultivating passion". It covers our passion for urban gardening and green living, but also our passion for sustainable growth in new and exciting markets. Our team is a nice bouquet of experts from fields such as gardening, design, strategy, marketing and business development. Like the cool steel panels in our products, we like to join people with different backgrounds and know-how. In near future we hope to increase this team with more people, and will return to this when the time is right.
