Simply.TV

Simply.TV’s was founded in 2018 by a team of metadata experts. Experts who had been building automation processes and tools for the aggregation, editing and delivery of TV data at some of the largest companies within the metadata industry (TMS, Gracenote, Red Bee Media). Simply.TV’s vision is it to support traditional TV operators, OTT services, but also metadata providers with their metadata challenges. Within less than one year, Simply.TV ingests, normalizes, enhances and delivers metadata for more than 1000+ unique sources across Europe.

We are a design studio oriented towards social issues, ethics, and taboos. We believe products should solve a need, make an impact and be functional. Our mission is to help ideas that seem crazy, dull, boring, stigmatised, etc. to become products people trust and love. We are based in Stockholm.

Shipmondo

We make it our mission to optimize shipment management and make it as quick, easy and affordable for businesses as possible, by exploiting digital opportunities and technologies. The company was founded in 2014, under the name Pakkelabels.dk. After existing for only 3 years, in 2017, we rounded 15,000 business customers, thus becoming the largest freight booking platform in Denmark. It was during this time that we saw that companies outside Denmark had same needs regarding shipping, that we already had a solution for. We decided therefore that we would make our platform available in other countries aw sell, so we could help even more companies with their day-to-day challenges. After a year and a half of hard work and extensive preparations, we were finally ready to launch internationally in May 2019. We changed our name from Pakkelabels.dk to Shipmondo and launched Shipmondo.com.

Trinus Rejser

Trinus Rejser is a travel agency offering tailormade backpacker-tours to young adventurers taking a gap year. By being only online-based we are able to offer the tours at a lower price than our competitors, while at the same time include more awesome activities. We offer individual tours and group tours, and specialize in combining the two to always be able to offer the exact type of tour our travellers dream of. Our groups consist of travellers from different nationalities, allowing for a more rewarding experience as our travellers hence get to learn about many different cultures and backgrounds while having the time of their lives backpacking in a foreign country. We have travelled to all the destinations we currently have, and are therefor able to advise our travellers in-depth with a personal touch. We have a passion for the worlds different cultures and have a condition of constantly ´Itchy feet´. Having been in operation for just over a year, we have proved the business model and experienced promising traction. The objective is now to scale the business and our ambitions are ridiculously high - but hey why shouldn’t they be? Our most limited ressource now is time. Farmer´s Window ApS

En start-up med fokus på at skabe mere transparens og almen maddannelse gennem augmented reality teknologi (AR). Hvorfor? Fordi Danmark er et af verdens bedste lande til at producere bæredygtigt, og jo mere vi kan fremhæve disse unikke kvaliteter, desto stærkere står vi på de globale markeder. Desuden fortjener de dygtige producenter, som sørger for gode produktionsforhold at kunne fremvise dem, hvorimod produktbevidste forbrugere har krav på at få legitimeret deres indkøbsvarer. Hvordan? Vi installerer kameraer på produktioner, der tilknyttet loskationdata, præsenterer direkte live-streaming video på fødevarene i butikkerne gennem forbrugers smartphones eller augmented reality briller og tilhørende. Dernæst producerer vi volumetriskefilm, der afspilles som en del af fødevaren. F.eks. kan børn se en 3D ko i fuld størrelse, studere den fra alle vinkler og gå ind i den for at se, hvordan koens drikkevand bliver forvandlet til mælk. Hvor lang tid tager det? Nærringsindhold? Smagen i forhold til foderet og koens livsstil? Tilsammen skaber det mere almen maddannelse. idéen er ikke at farve økologien, frilands eller den konventionelle, men at derimod at oplyser almene (med fokus på børn), så de senere i livet kan tage mere velovervejende beslutninger, når de selv står for deres fødevareforbrug. Mere transparens og bæredygtighed Så grønt og transparent som muligt. Vi udvikler, implementerer og driver augmented reality setups, der bygger på genbrugscomputere, solceller samt langtidsholdbare og udskiftelige komponenter. Vi sigter efter at være så transparente som muligt, og deler gerne ud af vores viden. Fordelen for Danmark Med Farmer´s Window kan den danske fødevareeksport bedre konkurrere på de globale markeder. Anvendelsen af AR signalerer ikke blot, at vi er moderne i tråd med: "The medium is the message". - Marshall McLuhan, men selve den værdi det bringer, at fremvise sunde fødevareproduktioner direkte på fødevarer, så direkte billeder af glade køer associeres med den danske ost. Det står i skarp kontrast med den italienske, spanske, franske og schweiziske, og overbeviser de teknologiglade millennials (født 1980-1994) og generation z (født 1995-2015), at de udover en god ost, køber det rigtige for Kloden.

LS CancerDiag

LS CancerDiag has developed DiagMMR®, a unique predictive diagnostic test to detect Lynch syndrome. We provide easily interpretable and highly accurate results even before cancers develop, enabling preventive and personalized care. Unlike current methods requiring tumour tissue, DiagMMR® only needs a very small skin biopsy of healthy tissue to detect LS in patients and in healthy individuals alike. This allows for an early diagnosis, enabling cancer prediction and preventive treatment, while unaffected family members can be relieved from regular follow-up. This gives clinicians a reliable tool to choose the right treatment for their patients, but also to screen healthy relatives even before tumours develop and provide true personalized care for patients and their families. The company was founded as a spin-off from the University of Helsinki in 2013. The validation of DiagMMR® has shown exceptional accuracy for the industry, with a specificity of 100% and sensitivity of 89%. LS CancerDiag has patents in 29 countries across the world, including Europe, the US and China. DiagMMR® is CE-marked as in vitro diagnostic medical device (IVD MD) and the company is currently working on obtaining ISO 13485 certification, which will be followed by the application for FDA approval. Commercialization has started in Finland and the company laboratory serves the home market through two distribution partners. The focus is currently on the European expansion followed by the US market entry. LS CancerDiag is looking for partners to achieve its ambitious goal for DiagMMR® to become the Gold Standard for Lynch syndrome detection at a global level.

Kontoor

We are a spin-off from Aalto University developing neural networks which reads the news as humans and collects economic data and events. We want to give all investors the same advanced quant tools that are currently used only by the large institutions. Why not, since technology is very scalable. Kontoor is reading the business news in real time and collects all economic information, locations, people, products and so forth. There are million of business news each year about tens of thousands of companies, but people hear only about the several few flagship companies. This is not enough for being truly informed decisions. Once we can see what all these thousands of companies are doing or expect of their sales, orders, production etc we are able to understand economy and make better decisions faster. Our target user is a semi-pro investor whom we we want to reach through brokers. The user is a busy professional or entrepreneur with a busy life style. He’s between 20 and 50 years of age, and he thinks that asset managers are too expensive. Besides he likes stock picking as an intellectual challenge. He usually holds 20-30 stocks in an internationally diversified portfolio and makes hundreds of trades per year. Currently he uses mostly Yahoo Finance, but it does not solve his problem. His biggest problem is lack of time and no tools. Moreover, professional terminal with business news is much too expensive. Kontoor will provide him news analytics and explain what has impacted the prices making analysis much easier at very low cost. We are able to breakeven with 1900 users at 10€ per month (a subscription) of which 50% goes to a broker.
