Kill Villains Asap

A hero’s journey myth exists in every human culture because we humans reflect on our world through real stories of our own lives. You leave your comfort zone and have an experience that transforms you and then you recover from it and do it again. You don’t literally kill villains and evil dragons, but you face problems just as scary.

Keybird Instruments IVS

Keybird Instruments is developing a lightweight acoustic piano to help piano enthusiasts play with their preferred sound (acoustic) with a practicality and price comparable to that of digital pianos. Nine out of ten piano enthusiasts prefer acoustic sound, yet most play digital because of price, size and weight. We want to combine the best of both worlds. We can offer an acoustic piano that weighs only 40 + 15 kg, only occupying half a square meter of valuable living space. It can be transported in normal cars. The first model has a slightly reduced amount of keys (just like many digital keyboards) having all the keys for pop and jazz but also most of classical music in the first five years of music schools. We are in the Beta phase and will open up for sales in Autumn 2020. We use one string per key which allows us to build a piano significantly lighter, even with long strings to maintain optimal sound quality. We thus have a strong focus on sound quality, rather than loudness. We can reach the low price due to automated production here in Europe and a design strategy that allows this. We started this because we needed it for ourselves and saw the need for others. We asked all the piano enthusiasts we could reach and get the interest in our product confirmed. The huge market of acoustic and digital piano (we combine the benefits) is what keeps us in pace to release a great product.

Workfellow.ai

Over 1 billion knowledge workers use a computer every day to perform business processes, e.g., in banks, insurance, and accounting companies. Unfortunately, those business processes and systems are not such a fluent experience that you’re used to with Google products, but we think it could be. We founded Workfellow.ai so that enterprises could become digitally fluid in the new era of remote work, automation, and AI. We help them optimize and automate their business processes and augment their people with the optimal tools to become their best versions. Our software solution is a combination of data mining, analytics, and an intuitive web application.

HELIOT EMIL

1. INTRODUCTION A Ready-To-Wear fashion company presented by brothers Julius Juul and Victor Juul from Copenhagen, Denmark. Exploring the lines between form and function driven by experimental approaches, HELIOT EMIL™ pushes the semantic dialogue within the creative industry. A subversive scandinavian and monochromatic aesthetic, combined with custom developed materials, fabrics and trimmings, HELIOT EMIL™ entices a high attention to detail throughout every branch. Designer Julius Juul draws on thought provoking themes and a curiosity about creative expression reflected in every collection by HELIOT EMIL™. 2. FOUNDATION Since the first collection was showcased in Milan during spring / summer 17 season, HELIOT EMIL™ has continually expropriated its exploration of the creative milieu. The aesthetic is carefully developed with custom fabrics, hardware trimmings and materials. Each hardware detail is created from the bottom up with form and function in mind. Experimentation and a high attention to detail is ensured by partnering only with the best in their category and industry. A tight-bond with all partners allows for a coherent evolution of the brand aesthetic. With painstaking attention to detail each garment is conceived from a collective ideation for each season standing in relation to the brand as a whole. 3. FUTURE The subsequent phase for HELIOT EMIL™ will see a further cementation of the brand and an expansion of the semantic dialogue with the creative milieu. The core value of the brand will be explored without compromise, through both physical spaces enticing further ideas of form and function, and experiences expressing the innovative nature of the brand. Underlying the continuous organic development is a coherent understanding of the brand developed in close proximity with all partners.

SubBook

The Solution to Our Time’s Flood of Pictures Lies in Photo Books. We are living in a time where we take more pictures than ever before. However, it is also a time where we no longer have them developed or spend time looking at them together. This has the team behind the Danish company SubBook come up with a solution to. They have made it easy to get the photo books back in the living rooms, so that friends and family can gather around the pictures and look back at all of their greatest memories together. And now they are expanding to the international market. The team has developed a photo book app called SubBook, which allows users to collect pictures from both Facebook, Instagram, Dropbox, and the iPhone camera roll to make simple photo books as easy as possible. They have made it with a particular focus on a user-friendly experience, so that people can both create and order their photo books while grocery shopping or in the bus on the way home from work. Because the team would like to spread the joy of perpetuated memories and the possibility to make simple, personalized, and cheap photo books to even more people, they now have entered the international market. In doing so they have also launched their website and app in English versions, while their photo books are delivered to all of Europe. With a sustainable aim. As the team wishes to give something back to the resources they use in their production, SubBook has joined in with the organization One Tree Planted. This collaboration means that a tree is planted every time a customer orders three books using the SubBook app. The team care a great deal about the traces they leave on our Earth and because of this, they only use paper qualities complying with international environmental requirements. This also means that their customers can order books with a clean and green conscience. For now, the SubBook app only works with iPhones, but as a part of their international launch the team is working tirelessly on developing an app for Android users, so that many more can join in on getting pictures out of the phones and into the photo books.

We believe that every child with obesity should have the right to receive adequate help and support. Our mission is to help these children and their families to form a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. What we do is to digitalize clinical childhood obesity treatment. We provide a platform that connects clinics with their patients. Childhood obesity is a major global health issue leading to cognitive and psychosocial problems and several non-communicable diseases. “Childhood obesity is one of the most serious public health challenges of the 21st century” – Global Strategy on Diet, Physical Activity and Health, WHO. Successful childhood obesity treatment brings on a life-style change resulting in a sustainable weight after an initial relative weight loss. There are effective traditional methods but they require almost weekly meetings with the caregivers (USPSTF 2017), something that the families struggle to handle and the society cannot afford on any significant scale. We bring on a new treatment paradigm based on measurable outcome instead of process goals. This lowers the risk of giving incorrect advice and reduces the stress associated with treatment. Our program is enabled by data collected at home. The data is presented to the families in a way that promotes self-management of health, while it’s presented to the healthcare professionals in order for them to intervene in the pivotal moments for their patients’ success. More patients can thus be treated with a fraction of the resources per patient compared to traditional methods. Our clinical results are outstanding and have been verified in clinical trials. The clinics’ benefits The clinics get an overview of all their registered patients and their progress as well as access to built in tools for planning and managing their work. Evira makes it possible for the clinics to continually keep track of their patients and intervene in the pivotal moments for their success. The revolutionary aspect with the Evira treatment concept is that it is based on reliably measured outcome instead of self-reported behaviour. Evira is a tool to provide treatment but we are also integrating manuals and recommendations that makes it possible for any clinic to work in an effective manner. Evira makes it possible for clinics to provide effective treatment with a fraction of the resources per patient compared to current/traditional methods. The families’ awareness of their progress makes the process less stigmatized which makes the visits more focused. The reduced stigmatization and continuous contact also leads to fewer late cancellations and missed appointments – which are significant cost drivers for clinics today. The families’ benefits The families get an easy way of getting in touch with the clinic for assistance through the mobile application as well as access to scientifically validated educational material. The main benefit is that they will get high quality treatment with much less perceived effort and with less frequent visits compared to current methods with comparable clinical results.

During and a long time after the current pandemic people will have to explore and travel their nearby surroundings instead of getting on a flight to another country. Normal camping sites are not that inspirational and won't attract the people who are used to explore the world. That's why we want private landowners outside the cities to be able to rent out their grounds to campers - tents or a place to park the RV or caravan. Hosts set their own price and we take a small commission fee. Users can easily find, book and pay for the unique and never before explored places to go for the night. Spending time outdoors has proven health benefits and fosters a deeper connection to the awesome, wild world out there.

IDUN audio

IDUN audio is a fast-growing startup developing virtual- and augmented reality audio software. Our unique spatial audio engine makes it possible to create many moving sound sources around a listener wearing headphones. The listener is free to move to explore the sound, due to tracking sensors in the headphones, and the sources can be placed in any acoustical space, from a small sound studio to a large concert hall. Since the advanced embedded software uses very low processing power, it can be built into wireless headphones.
