Hococo

Hococo is a simple and intuitive tenant support & experience platform that ensures great tenant commmunication with a state of the art digital solution. Traditional real estate and tenant administration relies on outdated, non-compliant systems that don't embrace the new modern technologies. Tenants are left with a bad, not transparent, experience in a non-digital home. The landlords on the other hand still struggle with rent collections, huge amounts of unstructured tenant inquiries and no tools to communicate effectively with the tenants. Hococo digitalizes, streamlines and improves all processes between the property owners, landlords, administration, janitors and finally the tenants. We do this via our modern SaaS-administration platform and dedicated IOS and Android apps for the tenants. Our mission is to provide the perfect tenant experience - always referring to our statement that a good tenant experience can also be good business. Why? As modern tenants we expect more of the places we live. Most of us have bad experiences with landlords, not knowing who to contact when shit hits the fan. Most of us can recognise the frustration of tons of paper work or extra bills coming in when moving in or out. And most of us also can imagine how a perfect tenant experience would look like if we could choose our selves. Rent is, after all, for most of us the biggest recurring expense in our lives! About Us: We are an Oslo-based independent entertainment and media production company, founded in 2019. Our team members have backgrounds from such diverse fields as banking, finance, business administration, advertising, film production and games development. We also have extensive experience with successful social media influencing, content creation and community building, particularly on Youtube and Facebook. The Problem: Self-actualization is becoming increasingly difficult in a changing and tumultuous world. For many, the cumulative effects of pandemic crisis, financial recession, political polarization and a hardened job market is frustration, and a greater need for entertainment and escapism as a means of self-actualization through vicarious experiences. Our vision is to fulfill this growing need for self-actualization. Our mission is to develop globally scalable products that fulfill the needs the marketplace does not adequately cater to today, and which are capable of surviving both recessions and pandemic crisis. Product/Solution: Our product is entertainment brands, based on proprietary video game properties. We aim to establish these brands first as videogame properties, and then use the passion and investment of gaming audiences as the gateway to expand these videogame properties into Transmedia franchises - including comics, third party merchandise and apparel, as well as licensed adaptations in other media, such as film and animation. Opportunity: The Gaming Market is global from day one, with digital gaming storefronts such as Steam, PSN and XBOX Live retaining millions of existing customers worldwide. Gamers are a heavily invested group of customers with both a high willingness to pay, as well as established networks of influencers and discussion forums, which greatly facilitates advertising efforts. Furthermore, gaming has been proven to be both Recession- and Pandemic proof, with game sales being largely unaffected by 2008 financial crisis, while sales records were broken during the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. Consumer behavior during the ongoing crisis has further confirmed the need for (and subsequently, the financial potential in) self-actualization through entertainment. Why us, and why now: We are passionate about entertainment and the creative process, we have business understanding, insight into the fan mindset and a unique strategy which enables us to see and seize upon opportunities the incumbents in the gaming market have missed. Furthermore, the recent crisis has caused many of these incumbents to struggle with adapting their organization and cost structure to the current working climate. By contrast, a start-up like us may be better suited to develop a sustainable and scalable production pipeline fit for the economy we are moving into. Right now is the perfect time to enter the entertainment- and videogame markets.

The idea is quite simple. Amateur cyclists and cycling fans all over the world now have the opportunity to buy pro-owned cycling equipment at a sharp price. At the same time, professional cyclists and cycling teams can quickly get rid of what they can no longer use. It started with original pro-owned cycling clothing from the professionals, and since then the concept has also evolved to offer professional cycling components and team bikes. We always only offer original equipment from the professionals, and the products are rarely used for more than 12 months, as the bike teams change sponsors every year. The products can be both new and pre-owned. No matter what product you find, it will always be of high quality and in good condition. WHAT WE BELIEVE In our world, price and quality do not need to be related. For many years, the cycling industry has been expensive and traditional, and we are on a great mission to change that! By offering pro-owned cycling equipment from the professionals to amateurs, we hope to make a lot of bike enthusiasts and fans happy every single day. We also have a dream of being part of creating a sustainable world. When you shop with us, you save our planet many resources. We are a team of sports fans and data geeks having created an online fantasy football "tipster" service that predicts the best fantasy sports “picks”. So, when you ask yourself, who should make the lineup on my fantasy team, Drafthound is your answer with detailed insights on players, teams and fixtures. Our insights and predictions are based on data analysis of relevant events taking place in the sports arena, on what the bookies think, and on what the general public believes - all curated to accommodate the best user experience. We are not data for the sake of data - we are data for the sake or relevance to our users. We are now a 5-person team backed by business angels, betting pros and top-athletes. Our focus is currently the Premier League (Fantasy Premier League) but we expect to expand to other football leagues any time soon as well as other sports, where fantasy is an important part of fans’ sports experience (NBA, NFL, cricket etc.). In short, we are here to innovate users' engagement in digital sports!

The Core Service group is more commonly known by its brand name, mcare, and it has been servicing the Nordic market with aftersales processes and authorized Apple repairs since 2010. The company employs over 60 certified Apple experts and has a capacity exceeding a quarter of a million repairs on a yearly basis for the 19 locations spread throughout the Nordics. The revenue for 2019 landed at €22,4M, showing a 20% annual growth. We primarily drive a B2B set-up, having customers within the insurance industry, carriers, and larger well-known enterprises, as well as municipalities and SMEs. Now, we also aim to gain broader recognition amongst consumers.

Dopeax is creating the next generation of cloud for developers. We automate and manage the development and deployment environment of your apps and APIs so that you can focus on creating awesome products, without the hassle of development and DevOps. The world runs on software but creating and operating it is becoming more complex day by day. DevOps people (people that handle these kinds of complexities) are very hard to find and are the most expensive folks in a startup team. We have abstracted the complexity of infrastructure and environment setup so that developers and startups could start being productive right away and see the result deployed on a server with a single click. In our past, we have struggled with this complexity ourselves. In 2015 when we started our first startup, which was a scholarly search engine and database, we worked 6 months on our first version. When it was time to deploy it, it took us another 3 months to manage to deploy it in a scalable and secure way. There must be a better way!

We are dedicated to creating a company culture that is personally rewarding and motivating to be part of. TaskShare

During the last few years we had been noticing that there is an increasing amount of youngsters on Facebook, who offer themselves for helping with small tasks such as lawn mowing and pet sitting. They are willing to show their credibility and work ethic to people and find their place at the society. Unfortunately, often the Facebook walls they post their offers are so filled with extra noise, that not many potential adults ever see them. At the same time, while working on different great companies, we have found out that mid-/senior level employees do not only have more than enough of work to do at the office, but also very often have a family and a house to be taken care of. They work from 9-5 at the office and after that they head straight to the home and start the, we like to call it "workday no. 2". They indeed are the heroes of work, but we started wondering, is there anyway we could help them to get more out of their spare times, so that they really can enjoy their lives. Not to mention, that we could clearly see ourselves on their shoes in a few decades. With these two problems in mind the idea started slowly to take shape into the form of a web platform, where these two huge groups of our population could solve each others problems with the help of our matchmaking efforts. Adults with two workdays can buy the most important asset there is for their lives, they can buy valuable time with their loved ones. At the same time they can act responsibly by sharing their mundane tasks from gardening to window cleaning for local youngsters, who can finally show that they can be trusted and that they are diligent, which could be huge to their future careers and also they get paid for that. After the COVID-19 pandemic started taking over the world, we eventually came into the conclusion that this is our time to help people to get jobs and the economy to grow in a new way. We started quickly constructing the platform and now we have finally launched the first public MVP. We believe the working life is going towards a disruption, where peer-to-peer hiring will be a thing that enables people to solve each others problems. And that is what TaskShare is designed for.

By using a simple and user-friendly interface, Campanyon connects campers and RV owners with campsites and landowners who'd like to rent out their private land. Campanyon strives to make it easier and more accessible for people to connect with and experience nature. By offering a simple platform that enables people to find campsites, glamping spots, shelters, and outdoor activities, our aim and hope are that more people will use and explore the nature, and ultimately appreciate it even more.
