The Ode To was founded 2018 by friends Helena Carlberg and Anna Lukins. We are both passionate collectors of aesthetically pleasing things, sharing an obsession for art and interior. We got tired of our cheap old posters but found art galleries to be intimidating and expensive. So, we ended up spending a lot of time looking for those special pieces in the most peculiar places. This life-long rummaging (as well as our careers in the fashion industry) has really taught us to spot those true treasures, which is reflected in our online gallery. Diamond Scout is an online affiliate company focused on diamond rings. We help our clients find the perfect diamond ring in our partner's jewelry assortments when they are getting engaged, married or just want to give their partner a fantastic gift. Diamond Scout was founded in the spring of 2019 after one of our co-founders had a great deal of trouble finding the right engagement ring for his current wife through Danish jewelry stores. He therefore ended up on an American affiliate site where, with the help of their good advice, he found a ring from one of their jewelry partners. Based on this experience, it became clear to him how difficult a process it is to find the right ring and that you typically end up paying an overprice for jewelries. Based on his experience with the American company, he was inspired to start a similar company in Europe. Today this company is called Diamond Scout and aims to make it easy and transparent to choose the perfect diamond ring. We are still in the very early stages and currently lack a director who can get the company up and running.

Like Aıscha Najjar, a Syrian doctor turned refugee immigrated to the United States to pursue her dream of work & a safe home. Yet, due to loss of information, she was forced to repeat medical school in the United States. If she had a verifiable skill identity, she might have had the privilege of practicing medicine without any questions. Aıscha`s story amongst others epitomizes the challenge Diwala is addressing. To tackle this challenge, Diwala has created a platform that enables schools and NGOs to issue skill-based identities, backed by blockchain technology. A skill-ID is a digitally verified record of a person’s educational and work history.
