Call Knut is a service that makes sure that the elder person takes their medication, checks the mental status and make conversation about things such as the news or the weather. The problem we want to solve is very personal - how can I use technology to better keep in contact with my elder father (89 years old, in another city) when I am mid-career with 3 small kids... We are in stealth. Knut is my father.

Queue is a music app that changes the way in which we listen to music together. In the 21st century, most people have a mobile phone and easy access to music on demand. People therefore develop their own individual taste in music and the music we listen to has become an important part of our identity. The fact that music preferences may be very different even within a homogeneous group of people has changed the music experience at parties. Satisfying music expectations has become a huge challenge and often the party host will have spent many hours worrying and trying to create the perfect playlist for the party. Still, many of the guests will constantly be dissatisfied with the music playing. They want their own favourite song to play and will try to find a way of changing the music. Since current music streaming apps like Spotify are designed for singular use, they are not suitable for multiple people adding songs to the playlist at the same time. Such use can therefore cause the whole queue to mess up and suddenly, songs will be repeated, or completely random music will play. The party host will then have to spend time fixing the problem while the guests are complaining, and the party atmosphere is destroyed. The solution is Queue – a music app that changes the way in which we listen to music together. The mission of Queue is to create a new way of playing music during parties and other get-togethers which eliminates all the stress and frustrations described above. When using Queue the question is no longer “Who controls the music, and how can I change it?” but instead “Which music do I wish to share with these people?” Queue enables this shift in focus by creating a live collaborative playlist in form of an app that is optimized for multi-person use instead of singular use like the current music applications on the market.

Crunch IT works with cloud platforms for the hospitality industry. We're part distribution - part software development. We distribute and support international POS and PMS platforms, but we also develope our own online ordering platform. Our goal is to be able to support any electronical-made guest order and integrate that into POS, PMS, etc. We have a nice office on Strøget in Copenhagen complete with kitchen, meeting room, outside terrace (for when it's not raining), fruit, snacks, beers and great company.
