We are a tech start-up with an award-winning book-creation Web App for young elementary students. The Danish version is reaching 75% of the Danish public schools – with documented results of enhancing children’s learning.For 200 years schools have used basically the same methods to teach children to write and read. Still, every fifth child today is functionally illiterate. Our mission is to change that by offering motivating learning tools built on new tech and proven pedagogical principles.

Holda

Our business covers a couple of different aspects. We have our own products for the housing rental market, we make software development for others and we make analysis and consulting of other startups. Of our own products, Muuttotarkastus.fi - an inspection tool for rented houses is already on the market and our main product Holda Koti is soon ready to hit the market.

Popit

Popit makes medication connected! We have developed a unique solution to gain access to the patient and keep track of medications that come in blisters - the packaging format for 80% of solid drugs in the world. The solution improves medication adherence and patient engagement, an over $400Bn problem for the pharmaceutical industry. Our first customers include the world’s #1 and #2 pharmaceutical companies. Significant sales funnel with discussions ongoing with most top-10 pharma companies. Popit is creating the Internet of Pills.

DIGURA ApS

DIGURA has build an advanced software, where we can assess cases based on previous rulings and compare it to the specific cases. Therefore every case we take in is an accessory to further the development of our system. This has led to more efficient case management, and this means that we can focus on the clients needs and keep our services at a high level. The software has enabled us to optimize our case management and therefore handle a case 80% faster than any other similar company. DIGURA consists of 12 persons from Aalborg, Aarhus, and Copenhagen. The organization is split in two departments: half of the team works with marketing and the other half works with law. Particular for our team is that everyone has some special skills important for the company which they are able to contribute with (skills besides the study). There is among us all a very ambitious mentality, which is important for the success of the company. The members of the DIGURA team have already won several awards and published several books within law, proving that the team is very ambitious. We work fast and efficiently, but we always remember to praise each other and keep an incredibly good atmosphere. Everyone is really valued at the company for what they contribute with. Therefore, there is a really good working environment at DIGURA. You can either meet and work together, or work from home. The most important thing is to keep the deadlines agreed each week. There is not yet a deadline that was not reached. We hold a meeting once a week where everybody participates, so everybody knows what has been done in the last week, and what is on the program for the next week. Besides that, we always end the meetings with shoutouts and praising.To sum up, DIGURA is for the ambitious mindset who is all in, have some special ability relevant for DIGURA and for those who can contribute to the good tone and social environment. We want to be the best, and therefore we search for the best.

EAT GRIM

EAT GRIM is a platform for ugly and surplus fruits and vegetables. We are fighting one of the world’s most pressing environmental issues: about 1/3 of fruits and vegetables produced are lost for aesthetic reasons or because they are overproduced - while we are worried that we can’t feed the growing populations of the world. So in 2018, we created EAT GRIM. We source the ugly and surplus produce directly from farms and bring it to the market in two ways: through a food box subscription to private consumers, making it easy for consumers to eat more sustainably. We also supply GRIM produce to food businesses that want to make their sourcing more sustainable and transparent. We're a small but hardcore team that works closely together to disrupt one of the most conservative and wasteful industries in the world. Up for the challenge? We are a Danish furniture brand created by three young entrepreneurs in Odense. Our brand is focused around adding that extra touch to interior design, by developing rustic and raw furniture that supplement the minimalist nordic design very well.  We are currently looking for new partners that can help our business expand. REstart Refugees

REstart is community-driven, donation-based crowdfunding platform for displaced entrepreneurs to (re)start companiesWhile many talk about the crisis, we want to focus on the role each of us have in this social transformation. We have the resources we need, but until now there has been no sustainable way to tackle this challenge.Whether it's €5 or €5.000, you support a local entrepreneur gain financial independence, while creating jobs, generating tax revenue, and forming cross-culture alliances  Hi there!We are REstart Refugees, but we go by REstart most of the time. We are a start up social enterprise  with a diverse and international team, that consists as much of a community as it does a business. During a fellowship with the UnSchool in Berlin, 2016, our founder realized the potential that a local crowdfunding platform had to support countless talented and experienced refugees who are determined to contribute to their host countries, but don't have a way to access start up funding. What's more, there was a huge gap between refugees and civil society, making it even more difficult to work together. It was then that the idea of REstart -- the world's first local crowdfunding platform specifically for refugees -- was born. Since then we have grown to a team of more than 28 volunteers, including a board of advisors, web team, development, marketing & communications, and a growing network  across Denmark and Europe, and the Middle East. While hundreds of crowdfunding platforms already exist, we take pride in being local and providing our clients with the support throughout the start up journey. All titles are distributed in a variety of languages ​​on all relevant platforms. 

Our products are easily available through our App, as well as established digital markedplaces such as Amazon, iTunes etc.  It´s all about building a brand 29 MINUTE BOOKS We offer compact eBooks and audiobooks on every thinkable theme and topic, available on your phone 24/7.
 

Short term goal: 
 Establishing a company and a brand in a selected market, and in collaboration with various authors and content providers, produce and sell theme based content for print and digital media. Optimize business model and prepare for a global launch
. Long term goal: 
Becoming a leading provider of compressed information and literature with an emphasis on digital distribution. 29 Minute Books shall evolve in the international market and become a significant provider of theme-based learning and content. Building a brand around 29 Minute Books is essential. 

To maximize the potential for success with this strategy, it would be desirable to do this in collaboration with a larger publishing house or similar strategic partner.
