Oyama is a mental health company on a journey to enable individuals to become balanced, sustainable humans. We are creating an evidence-based self-guided app with AI-assisted personalized self-care recommendations to help prevent depression. We have developed, Oyama, a platform to talk about your life challenges. We provide personalized, evidence-based tools from psychotherapy to understand yourself better and a peer-support community to encourage you on your journey. When a user enters the Oyama app, they join an anonymous community, where one can relate to other users’ stories. You can give helpful advice and positively reinforce one another. At the core of our app is our personalized journal, which teaches you to express yourself and guides you through a motion of evidence-based psychotherapy exercises to help you build healthy and sustainable habits. These exercises will help the users reflect on their thoughts, emotions, levels of stress, difficulties and possible relationship problems on a regular basis. By combining artificial intelligence with behavior and people's buying patterns we can with our algorithms help to throw less food. Our foodtech company NoFoodWaste wants to contribute to the UN's sustainability goals in «responsible consumption and production». We're working with AI and BigData to help people save food and use less money.

Our software tool provides predicted properties of (bio) chemicals based on data-driven algorithms and quantum chemistry, which helps to reduce the number of experiments in R&D. Every (bio)chemical process or product needs physico-chemical properties (e.g. solubility, density) data to simulate unit operations and flowsheets of chemical manufacturing processes. Also, the formulation of products such as more sustainable solvents or more efficient materials need property calculations for designing these products. Scientists and engineers at biotech companies usually fail to develop and simulate new processes and products because: (I) the experimental data for specific molecules are not available, (II) no physical property models have been developed for the desired compounds which give satisfiable predictions, (III) measurements are too time- and material-consuming to perform. MQS has developed a software which provides novel property prediction models based on machine learning and quantum chemistry (Figure 1), in which the input from experiments can be reduced or is negligible. Therefore the number of experiments, material, labour and time are saved which translates to reducing R&D costs in a 407 billion $ industry [1,2,3].
