For almost as long as Counter-Strike has existed, there has been an unwritten understanding that there are roles. The problem is that there is no way of teaching these roles and no way of being rewarded for performing them. All players are rewarded the same - like a goalkeeper equally being rewarded for scoring goals. The different responsibilities are not seen statistically and players don't know what to expect of themselves and of others. This is something that affects all amateur players without coaches and managers around them - and no one else is doing anything about it. 3: The How: How we solve this Our solution is to build a platform where players can choose a role with a selection of tasks and responsibilities, play a match where the team of strangers around the player is composed of other roles that complement each other and after the match get rewarded for the specific tasks the player was responsible for. This will give more player agency, bring better and clearer communication, and more importantly - it will make them feel useful. 4: The Why: What motivated us to get started I have competed in Counter-Strike competitively for 10 years and during all this time it's been a real struggle for me personally to try and play outside team practice. I knew what my role was, but I had no way of efficiently training when my teammates weren't around. I want to create an environment where players can become who they are meant to be and focus their efforts.
