The team aims to bring technology to the baby scene and vastly improve the availability and accessibility of information for new parents. HELIOT EMIL

1. INTRODUCTION A Ready-To-Wear fashion company presented by brothers Julius Juul and Victor Juul from Copenhagen, Denmark. Exploring the lines between form and function driven by experimental approaches, HELIOT EMIL™ pushes the semantic dialogue within the creative industry. A subversive scandinavian and monochromatic aesthetic, combined with custom developed materials, fabrics and trimmings, HELIOT EMIL™ entices a high attention to detail throughout every branch. Designer Julius Juul draws on thought provoking themes and a curiosity about creative expression reflected in every collection by HELIOT EMIL™. 2. FOUNDATION Since the first collection was showcased in Milan during spring / summer 17 season, HELIOT EMIL™ has continually expropriated its exploration of the creative milieu. The aesthetic is carefully developed with custom fabrics, hardware trimmings and materials. Each hardware detail is created from the bottom up with form and function in mind. Experimentation and a high attention to detail is ensured by partnering only with the best in their category and industry. A tight-bond with all partners allows for a coherent evolution of the brand aesthetic. With painstaking attention to detail each garment is conceived from a collective ideation for each season standing in relation to the brand as a whole. 3. FUTURE The subsequent phase for HELIOT EMIL™ will see a further cementation of the brand and an expansion of the semantic dialogue with the creative milieu. The core value of the brand will be explored without compromise, through both physical spaces enticing further ideas of form and function, and experiences expressing the innovative nature of the brand. Underlying the continuous organic development is a coherent understanding of the brand developed in close proximity with all partners.

Mister Wise

Mister Wise has developed a digital customer loyalty system to help smaller restaurants and cafés retain their loyal customers. A problem many restaurants and café owners are facing today, and have been facing for a long time, is the harsh competitiveness in the market. To stand out in the market place each restaurant offer their own unique concept which they fully control on their own. This will always be the most central part of the equation. However, to keep their customers coming back to their unique concept, a good, easy and systematic loyalty system is of essence. The science is clear on the fact that that retaining already existing customers is cheaper and more profitable than acquiring new customers. That’s why most corporations around the world have their own loyalty systems in place. Why shouldn’t the local restaurant and café? By not utilizing a loyalty system, the restaurant is making themselves a disservice. The customer is lacking an element of the overall experience and the business owner is leaving extra cash on the table. This is a widespread problem which affects all parties involved. The situation is however quite understandable as developing your own digital loyalty system is very time consuming, not to mention expensive. That’s where Mister Wise comes into the picture, offering a tool normally only used by the big sharks in the market to the smaller fish. Mister Wise does not believe in the old-fashioned paper stamp where the customer collects 10 stamps and then gets a free coffee. What if you don’t like coffee and you only drink smoothies? Every customer who walks into the particular food place is a customer who may or may not come back again. To maximize the chances for that customer to come back they should have the opportunity to “collect stamps’’ on whatever they order. That’s why Mister Wise offers a point-based system instead, in which the customer orders and buys whatever he or she want on the menu and then collect points on that particular purchase. This way, all customers can utilize the offer. After X amount of points have been collected, the customer receives a voucher he or she can use at that restaurant. Not only does the customer receive a financial benefit for their loyalty but they also receive a non-financial benefit. For each voucher that is received a heartwarming message from the restaurant owner is sent to the customer, to fully maximize the potency of the loyalty system. As one of the founders had worked part time at a grocery store for quite some time, he knew the value of a good loyalty system and thought it was very strange that it’s only used by the big sharks in the market. After doing market research it was concluded that there was a desire among the local food places for a product such as the one Mister Wise is offering

LastObject

LastObject is dedicated to creating sustainable alternatives to single-use items. We've created LastSwab - the world's first reusable cotton swab, as well as LastTissue - the reusable tissue. LastObject’s mission is to reduce and eliminate single-use products. Our main focus is to identify single-use items that needlessly damage our environment. Our aim is to reduce waste. When we started, our idea was to do produce something good for the environment and being three designers it made sense to use those skills and design something that works as replacements for something that is damaging the environment.

VipeOnline IVS

VipeOnline seeks to modernize the veterinary practice world by providing a tool in which vet clinic owners can engage in veterinary virtual care (VVC) as an extension to their veterinary practice business. The goal of the company is to create and launch a communication platform that provides 1) telemedicine and 2) automated call-back message capabilities to vet clinics. Telemedicine as a veterinary virtual care tool is an emerging market in the Global veterinary industry but - although still in its infancy - already tried and proven in the field of human medicine. Presently there are no automated call-back-message systems available for veterinary clinics. The overarching value proposition of VIPE is to provide a tool that transforms veterinary clinics into digitally connected practices.

SentiSpec

SentiSpec produces Automatic Fever Screening solutions aimed at reducing infection rates and risk in regards to pandemics. Our proprietary camera solution will automatically detect and alert relevant staff to potential infection carriers entering their facilities, by measuring their temperature. Since the SARS epidemic in 2003, various Asian nations have deployed temperature screening solutions in airports, retail outlets, malls, train stations, and more. This has shown to be of great value in reducing infection rates, however all these screening solutions have the common problem of having to be manned and monitored 24/7, whereas our solution is fully automated. We have a pilot solution, our first two customers, of which one is a major municipality in Denmark, and we have the first funding round pledged. We are expanding rapidly with a product that has the potential to make a real difference, now and in the future, saving lives and playing a part in stabilising the world economy.

UPGRD.io

UPGRD.io is an automated photo enrichment engine. It turns regular photos into unique artworks, allowing businesses to offer more, sell more and achieve higher customer satisfaction. UPGRD can be used as a standalone store front or integrated to any website via API. UPGRD can bee used for example as a fan engagement tool for sport leagues, to raise money for charity organisations or to increase school photography businesses shopping cart size.

SubBook

The Solution to Our Time’s Flood of Pictures Lies in Photo Books. We are living in a time where we take more pictures than ever before. However, it is also a time where we no longer have them developed or spend time looking at them together. This has the team behind the Danish company SubBook come up with a solution to. They have made it easy to get the photo books back in the living rooms, so that friends and family can gather around the pictures and look back at all of their greatest memories together. And now they are expanding to the international market. The team has developed a photo book app called SubBook, which allows users to collect pictures from both Facebook, Instagram, Dropbox, and the iPhone camera roll to make simple photo books as easy as possible. They have made it with a particular focus on a user-friendly experience, so that people can both create and order their photo books while grocery shopping or in the bus on the way home from work. Because the team would like to spread the joy of perpetuated memories and the possibility to make simple, personalized, and cheap photo books to even more people, they now have entered the international market. In doing so they have also launched their website and app in English versions, while their photo books are delivered to all of Europe. With a sustainable aim. As the team wishes to give something back to the resources they use in their production, SubBook has joined in with the organization One Tree Planted. This collaboration means that a tree is planted every time a customer orders three books using the SubBook app. The team care a great deal about the traces they leave on our Earth and because of this, they only use paper qualities complying with international environmental requirements. This also means that their customers can order books with a clean and green conscience. For now, the SubBook app only works with iPhones, but as a part of their international launch the team is working tirelessly on developing an app for Android users, so that many more can join in on getting pictures out of the phones and into the photo books.

Icotak is developing B2B platform to help oil, gas and chemical industry to solve sales and purchasing needs of physical spot deliveries. The price formation of these products is not transparent. Our solution provides a platform that significantly reduces the cost of trading and makes spot trading more transparent and more market-based.

CollabMaker

CollabMaker is developing a web platform to help people create job opportunities for themselves and others during and after Covid-19. Initially the main target group is people who have lost their jobs due to the economic impact of the Corona virus, but this will expand in the future. We got together during hackthecrisis.se and our motivation is to help people create businesses and create a better world.

Yedlik AS

Yedlik started in April 2020 in Oslo with the objective of eliminating the environmental and economical madness of discarding mostly good batteries, and creating hundreds of fun, local, and meaningful jobs. Norway is on its way to generate 500 tons of dangerous waste a year just from micromobility batteries. We want to build a business on reusing most of this waste!

Martin Key

Martin Key, founded in 2016, is a Swedish brand offering high-end customized leather garments, with jackets as the main focus. The jackets are handmade in the northern part of Sweden, Dalarna. We produce all our garments based on customer orders and thus remaining sustainable by avoiding over production and minimizing left-over fabrics. Even though we are positioned at a relatively high price range (our jackets start from 20k SEK and our shoes from 5k SEK), we see our conscious customers demanding even more luxurious features; our most expensive jacket was sold for 95k SEK. As we already have a clear creative vision, we are now looking for a strategic business developer who can lead us in the right direction and grow the business.
