Rista ApS

Rista is an app based company, where you can get one cup of coffee every day for 129 DKK a month, in more than 25 stores around Copenhagen. Copenhagen has in the past three years been elected the most expensive city in the world to buy coffee, with a stunning price of around 42 DKK per cup. While most of the bigger coffee chains strive under these conditions and extend their market share, many local cafés and restaurants suffer. This is due to high competition, and low customer loyalty, where the big chains win on their great locations, and huge marketing budgets. Rista is a benfrit to be apart off, if you buy more than 3 cups of coffee a month. We believe that with we can change the coffee industry, and give a helping hand to the local restorations.

We are BLAST – the global esports media network delivering world class entertainment experiences. Whether it be intimate broadcast studio shows, arena events, digital platforms or top-class multi-platform content, we create the most exciting, exhilarating and euphoric moments in esports. This includes BLAST Premier; a worldwide Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament where the best teams and brightest stars fight it out for a $4.25m total prize pool. Broadcast around the world in 100 territories to over 150m households. With BLAST we want to amplify the best elements of esports – excitement, competition and community. Creating exhilarating events, unmissable content and fan first experiences.

Actodoo

Actodoo has been founded by 3 mates who love to do funny things on vacation and in the weekends. We decided to start a company and do a platform to make it more transparent in the way we find activities in our daily life. Actodoo is an App where we link the best activities in town with travellers, locals and anyone looking to have fun! We provide cool activities from a variety of categories such as Water Sports, Land Sports, Nature, Adrenaline, Landmarks and much more. We have created a fun universe where the user swipes through the most awesome activities, and have the opportunity to organise activities into Plans for their next trip or adventure.

SundhedsTV

SundhedsTV er et digitalt og videobaseret samlingssted for sundhedsinformation. SundhedsTV er skabt som en reaktion på den stigende forvirring blandt danskerne omkring, hvad der er sundt og usundt – en forvirring, der bl.a. kommer af det (mis)informationsoverload, der findes på nettet samt det paradoks, at rigtig meget sundhedsinformation er tekstbåret, mens over en halv million danskere har svært ved at læse og forstå en simpel tekst. Derfor er der brug for overskuelig og korrekt viden om sundhed og sygdom til alle. Både for at give tryghed til den enkelte og for at understøtte sundhedsvæsenet, hvor der er travlt og behov for at kunne fokusere på det vigtigste. Men også, fordi den øgede mængde sundhedsinformation har gjort det sværere at gennemskue, hvad der er myter eller halve sandheder – og hvad der faktisk er korrekt og videnskabeligt bevist. SundhedsTV tilbyder troværdig og relatérbar viden om de mest udbredte emner inden for sundhed. Fra myter om lus til diagnosticering af kroniske sygdomme. Vi formidler i korte video-formater, som gør emnet letforståeligt, og vi gør en dyd ud af at give seeren håb og mulighed for at handle – hvad enten det handler om gode råd til, hvordan du giver dit lille barn medicin eller gerne vil høre andre fortælle, hvordan det er at leve med en kronisk og måske alvorlig diagnose. SundhedsTV er en online tv-kanal på eget website, men de fleste danskere vil møde os dér, hvor de er i forvejen. Alt indhold bliver distribueret på tværs af de største sociale kanaler og maksimalt Google-optimeret. SundhedsTV-platformen er sponsorfinansieret og det sponserede indhold lever dermed også på sponsorernes egne kanaler og kan bruges som en vigtig del af et content marketing spor. 

Shades of Love

SHADES OF LOVE collects new and used sunglasses and distributes them in remote high mountain regions. In the Himalayas and the Andes, the majority of the population lives in extremely remote regions at an altitude of 2,500 to 6,500 meters. They are exposed to harmful UV rays all year round. Even when it’s cloudy, the UV-radiation penetrates these high-altitude areas. The unique geological and climatic conditions make the sun exposure there so incomparably dangerous. In these heights, the UV filter of the atmosphere is 5 kilometres shorter, than under ‘normal’ conditions. Up to 80% of the population suffers from eye diseases, blindness, or cancer in their lifetime. Many indigenous people fall victim to eye diseases before they turn 30 years old. Some of these diseases are even deadly. Normally, they lead to blindness. Consequently, many can no longer pursue their work, due to blindness and are thus threatened in their existence. It is scientifically proven that living in high altitude correlates strongly with visual impairment. It’s also proven that quality sunglasses can mitigate infection risks and rates. We have distributed hundred thousands of sunglasses to people in the most remote high-altitude regions in the world to prevent the issue and its consequences. We also conduct eye surgeries together with local and foreign doctors to not only prevent, but also cure ocular diseases. Since the start of our project we have expanded and moved beyond the Himalayas to help as many people in need as possible.

Lime

Lime is founded on a simple idea that all communities deserve access to smart, affordable mobility. Through the equitable distribution of shared scooters, bikes, and transit vehicles, we aim to reduce dependence on personal automobiles for short-distance transportation and leave future generations with a cleaner, healthier planet.

Flowplan

Flowplan is offering an IoT solution for remote water management, specifically for water consuming HoReCa machinery, e.g. coffee machines, dishwashers and ice machines. The solution consists of both hardware and software and together offers the most advanced IoT solution available on the market. More or less all these machines are equipped with a water filter that filter out calcium and magnesium, to avoid scale buildup. They have to be changed dependent on water hardness and filter type. Currently service companies change them based on rough estimates or even guesses - leading to huge filter waste, unnecessary driving and often scale buildup in the expensive machines. By monitoring all consumption, transmitting it wirelessly and analyzing data, we predict exactly when the filters are due, and let the service companies know. This way we ensure all filters are changed on time, not too soon or too late. Besides optimizing water filters, we are using machine earning and AI to analyze consumption data and gain valuable insights for the users to act upon. Our mission is to change the water filter market. Reduce the enormous filter (and money) waste, and ensure no machines break down due to scale buildup. We are a young team with experience from the industry, where the problem has been a long-standing problem.

Green Pleasure Aps

Green Pleasure bridge the connection between European farmers and consumers on the most vital food product: Fresh Produce. Our goal is to take the consumption of fresh produce to a even higher level, by raising the quality Barr. At the same time we save the environment from a huge carbon emission, by bringing fresh produce "from the land to the table", without any detour from retail stocks, ripening rooms or other cooling facilities. We carefully select all our suppliers and only maintain a dialog if the production is sustainable or organic. We are aiming at constantly adding new competences to our staff, in order to maintain a leading position in the industry. The human concern and care towards the environment also include our stakeholders such as our staff, suppliers and partners. Our highly experienced staff make sure our produce are harvested when the taste, juice content and shelf life are optimum - which gives us a competitive advantage - and at the same time create a higher demand for fresh produce. ARETE ApS

1: Short description ARETE is developing a matchmaking platform for CS:GO to help hardcore gamers become better players with a role-based rating- and division-system. 2: The What: What are we solving We severely lack player agency in Counter-Strike. For almost as long as Counter-Strike has existed, there has been an unwritten understanding that there are roles. The problem is that there is no way of teaching these roles and no way of being rewarded for performing them. All players are rewarded the same - like a goalkeeper equally being rewarded for scoring goals. The different responsibilities are not seen statistically and players don't know what to expect of themselves and of others. This is something that affects all amateur players without coaches and managers around them - and no one else is doing anything about it. 3: The How: How we solve this Our solution is to build a platform where players can choose a role with a selection of tasks and responsibilities, play a match where the team of strangers around the player is composed of other roles that complement each other and after the match get rewarded for the specific tasks the player was responsible for. This will give more player agency, bring better and clearer communication, and more importantly - it will make them feel useful. 4: The Why: What motivated us to get started I have competed in Counter-Strike competitively for 10 years and during all this time it's been a real struggle for me personally to try and play outside team practice. I knew what my role was, but I had no way of efficiently training when my teammates weren't around. I want to create an environment where players can become who they are meant to be and focus their efforts. I have dedicated years of my life into defining the roles and coming up with a system that will make solo matchmaking feel like team practice, and I have already found some amazing people to help me make it happen - will you join us in our journey to making matchmaking better?

We are currently a team of 12 driven people, from 7 countries, speaking 8 languages, united in our vision to cause major industry disruption by developing and delivering the best place in the world to sell and buy quality wine.
