LARSEN & ERIKSEN is an independent design studio founded by us; two childhood friends passionate about design and watches - and passionate about creating the world's best workplace. Back in 2015, we felt watches were getting way too similar and way too over-priced. So, we decided to go ahead and design our own. We’re aware that with great heritage comes great responsibility. Thus, with a deepfelt respect for our Scandinavian design roots, balanced with an ambition to do what we think is right, we design for a diverse and democratic future. We’ve designed every little detail from scratch - and we’ve cut out all costly middlemen - making LARSEN & ERIKSEN not only aesthetic, but also accessible. Since starting out, we’ve grown 100% organically and our work has been acknowledged and exhibited by the likes of MoMA in New York and Tokyo, Tate Modern, BEAMS, Louisiana MoMA, Institute of Contemporary Art Boston, Danish Architecture Center and San Francisco MoMA, among others. Our mission is to create a contraceptive technology that renders hormonal birth control obsolete. We are addressing the millions of women that are demanding non-hormonal products with fewer side-effects to manage their fertility. Today, nearly 60 years after the first oral contraceptive pill was sold, most prescription birth control methods are variations on the same synthetic hormones. In collaboration with the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden, we have developed a technology that reinforces the natural barrier properties of cervical mucus. The principle of the technology is to use topically-applied biopolymers to make cervical mucus impenetrable to sperm cells throughout the menstrual cycle. Our approach enables a potentially groundbreaking product that protects within a minute and for extended periods without the systemic side-effects known from hormonal contraceptives. In 2019 we raised $1.8M for pre-clinical development. Today we are incubated at the BioInnovation Institute, conveniently located in central Copenhagen, with access to state-of-the-art labs.

VI.ER AKVAVIT, which is today known as Six Nordics, was founded in 2015 based on a desire to create an aquavit that soars above everything else that is already on the market. We produce aquavits that make people want to immerse themselves into a new world of Nordic cool, combining our classic virtues of craftsmanship and quality with a contemporary and relaxed approach. Our goal is to design and produce a series of aquavits that are distilled and infused with the finest herbs and plants from Denmark and the Nordics. We have teamed up with some of the best and brightest within their respective fields to help us forage and distill our aquavits. CxD is the producer of interactive and engaging learning environments for children. We aim towards learning in a more fun way as well as moving. This is done by emerging the physical elements of play with a digital layer in new interactive products. The first product is in the pipeline launching in April 2016: Hopspots. With 12 interactive Pads and a game station it is now possible to move and play while learning at the same time.
