Our client, OMNI provides Furniture as a Service for the future of work and makes beautiful, top-quality furniture accessible through subscription instead of ownership, enabling companies and their employees to create better work environments, while improving sustainability by keeping great products in circulation.
Following the COVID-19 pandemic, we are providing a scalable and convenient solution for planning, implementing, and servicing subscription furniture for employees’ home offices.
You'll be joining a fast-growing startup company that's on a mission to build solutions for the future of work and change consumer behavior for the better.
The company is currently based in Islands Brygge, Copenhagen, where you can enjoy the water and a new prospering area with lots of cafés, restaurants, and an enormous rooftop!
What will you be doing?
You will be reporting to the CEO and working closely with the management team to develop and implement OMNI's platform architecture. You will know how to iterate on product development, based on business requirements and the client needs.
When joining a startup, time is of the essence. Therefore the ability to build prototypes fast while having scalability as a main part of your mindset is crucial to be successful.
You will be part of building an ambitious, motivating, and fun environment.
Specifically, you will:
Build out the platform architecture
Build the backend and implement the frontend web and mobile-based applications
Design custom solutions (creativity here will also be essential)
Being one of the front-runners on product development
Be in the operational role
Report on activities and KPIs to management
Take ownership of the product development department
Requirements:
Fluent in English
Vast startup/scaleup experience
Software engineering background (B.A. or M.A. in computer science or similar)
Highly structured in your approach and able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
Eager to reach the highest level of quality
Excellent communication skills to express thoughts and correlate with peers across different departments
Able to accept and react to feedback from different entities
Eager to learn and adapt in a dynamic, fast-growing environment
Organized and able to create plans on a strategic level, yet execute efficiently on a tactical level
Experience with building and shipping B2B and B2C products
Our current technology stack consists of:
Node.js, React.js, Express.js.
TypeORM, Linux shell(Bash), Postgres.
Typescript, Graphlq, Docker.
Bonus points:
Experience building complex databases, solutions for fleet management, or blockchain solutions
Experience with mobile app development
Experience with AR
Experience building and growing teams
At least once a day, having the ability to tell a bad joke and laugh at all of the other bad jokes in the office.
