Our goal is to lead the green transition in the food industry, connecting millions of consumers and farmers. As Head of Distribution, we are looking for someone with a strategic mindset, who sets and drives our agenda for the food industry and set high standards.

Position

We are looking for a Head of Distribution to join our fast-growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in achieving our ambitious growth objectives and delivery targets. The person must have relevant experience within supply chain, a genuine interest in the field of food and logistics, be pragmatic and solution oriented in their approach to problems and have a track record in reducing delivery mistakes and scale operations.

Responsibilities

• As our Head of Distribution you have the overall responsibility of our last mile logistics.

• You will monitor, control, and manage last mile deliveries on the strategic level in order for Fresh.Land to meet customer expectations and company goals

• Lead and develop your team with the growth of the company

• Build new strategic markets and manage contracts

• Find and build strategic partnerships with 3rd party suppliers

• Coordinate and manage projects for supply chain optimisation

• Ensure compliance with company standards and procedures

Requirements

• At least 7 years of relevant experience within supply chain operations

• Experience in scaling logistic operations from food business is a plus

• Excellent communication and people management skills

• Excellent organisational and time management skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritise

• Track record in building processes and implementing procedures

• Experience with food inspections and quality control of fresh food is a plus
