Great design is at the heart of the LifeX user experience, our strong brand helps build trust for potential members and our business partners.
We’re looking for a well-rounded visual designer with an eye for detail, who is able to iterate our brand fundamentals, manage all graphic design tasks, refine projects and drafts, and generate creative ideas.
Reporting into the Head of Marketing, you will be working closely with our marketing and product teams as well as execute on design requests from other departments. On our product side, we’re looking for someone who is able to approach design with a focus on the UI and UX of our member app. You’re passionate about providing a frictionless journey from onboarding to community events, operational services and more from a design perspective. From a marketing standpoint, you will be responsible for creating and owning the design aspects of digital campaigns, our website and content as well as physical products such as swag, brochures and more. You will also have the opportunity to maintain, protect and evolve the design elements of our brand.
As a designer at LifeX, you should not be afraid to take on multiple roles, as well as inspire and lead the organization into making great design decisions.
You will be spoiled with great live data on how our members are doing, and have endless opportunities to collect qualitative and quantitative data through surveys and interviews.
You are organized and structured enough to deliver design consistency and familiar with building and maintaining design systems and documentation.
You are good at receiving briefs and working to understand them from stakeholders with limited design knowledge.
You understand mobile responsiveness and it’s at the forefront of your thinking when it comes to digital design.
You are empathetic and good at giving, and open to receive feedback always focused on understanding and delivering on our member's needs.
You’re able to work on a strategic and executional level, and switch between both seamlessly.
You dare to speak up and be honest when you see opportunities to disrupt our product, process, or culture with innovative solutions.
Experience creating and implementing brand and design strategy
Project management skills
Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with multiple stakeholders
Experience in both quick wireframes, and more detailed prototypes
Ability to work independently and with others on creative projects
Experience working on marketing campaigns
Experience working closely with developers
Ability to manage stakeholder expectations
Experience with creating mobile responsive designs for websites, social media, etc.
Fluent in written and spoken English
UI tools like (Sketch / Figma / Xd / Invision etc.)
Adobe CS programs (photoshop, illustrator, etc.)
HTML / CSS front-end (Not required)
Sketchup Pro / Enscape (Not required)
Video recording + editing (Not required)
Photography + retouching (Not required)
