Position responsibilities and work

At PatientSky we are continually improving and building new products. This position will have a broader range of product interactions and touchpoints, so a strong communication and coordination skillset is a prerequisite. We are looking for people who are dedicated and dare to step out of their comfort zone.

We are now looking for a Tester for our Quality Assurance team. With us, you get the opportunity to participate in exciting testing of new products before they are launched in the market, where the objective is to report errors, imperfections and suboptimal features and flows. This is crucial work for the further development and digitalisation of the Norwegian health sector. We want employees who are passionate about changing an industry that has been characterised by old technology. For the position, we are looking for people who are systematic, accurate, detail-oriented and have a technical understanding. You work well in teams but can also work independently. It is an advantage if you have previous experience with testing, but it is not a requirement. You must be responsible, conscientious, and it is important that you can think holistically and see connections in complex systems. You are determined, good at acquiring new knowledge and cope with working efficiently in a hectic environment with short deadlines. It is important that you are flexible with regard to overtime work, as this can occur with larger projects.


Position Qualifications & work

  • Manual testing when releasing updates and launching new products

  • Quality assuring existing and new modules

  • Work on associated beta modules and pilots

  • Prepare test processes and test cases

  • Produce and maintain test-case documentation

  • Browser testing of various services and products

  • Troubleshooting

  • Communication across relevant departments internally.

You will report directly to our Quality Assurance Manager and will be part of a larger testing team.


Formal requirements

  • Higher education - university or college level

  • Good written and oral presentation skills in Norwegian and English
