Our footprint is expanding, and we are therefore looking for a part-time employee to join our operations team with responsibilities within purchasing and inventory management. Your role is key in supporting production to operate smoothly and to ensure that our operating costs are maintained efficiently.

The job is great for an experienced professional who is actively seeking to work part-time, but still wants an interesting job or maybe a new graduate with some relevant experience and a strong motivation to create results. The job could develop into a full-time position as the company is growing and other areas of responsibility could be added in future.

RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Coordinate purchasing activities of raw materials, packaging and other products

·       Follow-up and track orders, manage logistics of orders and ensure timely delivery

·       Develop and manage inventory system and organise incoming and outgoing movements of commodities and packaging materials

·       Maintain and optimise inventory levels of raw materials and packaging and give inputs to purchasing plans

·       Ad-hoc research tasks on possible suppliers and solutions for production and R&D

·       Coordinate repairs and insurance claims and handle ad-hoc facility issues

REQUIREMENTS

·       Relevant professional experience with logistics, supply chain management, purchasing, warehouse management or similar

·       Experience with and strong commandment of Excel and good understanding of IT tools and software

·       A relevant educational background or at least a proven commitment to learn, develop and take responsibility for your job area

·       English is the main language of Empirical. Working proficiency in Danish is strongly preferred for this role.

·       A solutions-oriented attitude and ability to maintain structure and overview when faced with many tasks

·       Driver’s license is a plus, but not a requirement
