During the last two years we have managed to build a platform, validate our concept, and establish partnerships that has allowed us to develop a successful Minimum Viable Product.Right now, we have set the roadmap for 2021 which is focusing on further development of new features for high volume recruitment on the existing solution which is based on a CMS.On mid-term the focus will be on improving UX, automation via re-usage of data and conceptualization; on longer term the focus will be design of the organization, use of RPA, ML and AI to scale further.
We are looking for a candidate for a newly established position as CTO to become part of the founding team in an exciting company with a big growth agenda and a large potential.
You will be on a warrant programme and, of course, a part of the management team and have the technical responsibility for the company's IT Operation & Development. You will have a close collaboration with the CEO and CMO in terms ensuring a clear strategy, communication to the board of directors and investors, as well as daily people management.
Your team consist for now of an outsourced backend and frontend team in Macedonia with a Team Lead, Project Manager and 4 developers. As well as a full-time UI/UX designer.
The company's expectation for you as the CTO and co-founder is that you will be an active, committed and dynamic member of the company's management, and the technological architect of the company's overall IT platform to best support the global growth of the business. You have a good business understanding and an agile mindset and can drive the technological direction the company needs to move in. And then you need to have a good understanding of GDPR.
As a forward-thinking leader, you will ensure that Innoflow at all times has the right competencies present to be able to identify valuable trends, locate opportunities, build and develop the global platforms and not least take Innoflow’s platform to the next level.
Responsibilities
• Build and run a technical platform that is being enabled for growth on its way and with minimal tech debt
• Define and drive a roadmap (from Minimal Viable Product to Target Operating Model) towards an innovative, digital ecosystem to support our business goals, ensuring excellent customer experiences
• Design the technical architecture and tech stack to ensure lean and highly automated processes
• Build and lead a high-performance tech team and create an exciting, dynamic, agile, and sustainable work environment that ensures efficient execution across the company
• Lead the product development of high-quality software for the frontend and backend (Architecture, Technical Requirements, Development, Version Control, QA, DevOps, Hosting/Runtime)
• Build technology, systems, processes, and teams that can translates business requirements effectively into stable working products
• Constantly navigate between operational, tactical, and strategical exercises
• Identify new opportunities, tools, and services to improve our overall process and product
Required Profile
• Competent in designing and developing a scalable system
• Competent in leading distributed teams that produce complex software and implementing automated processes aimed for CI/CD
• Competent as tech lead or lead architect on cloud-based platforms
• Full stack development knowledge - and a desire to lead this development
• Familiar with complex architecture and a strong customer-focus in a fast-growth company
• Entrepreneurial and can-do attitude, focusing on execution. Pragmatism above theory
• A strategic visionary and innovative thinker with leadership skills and experience of product development and execution
• Knowledge of a wide range of technologies/methodologies including: services in the Cloud (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS); exposing services via APIs; managing large amounts of structured and unstructured data; embedding data analytics solutions; and a thorough understanding of DevOps/Agile
• You are passionate about changing status quo and make a true impact
• You are ambitious and can work and communicate positively and respectful with others
• You are fluent in English
The recruitment process
As you most likely have guessed, we will not ask for your resumé and cover letter. We will instead ask you to sign up to solve a relevant case. The case will be evaluated anonymously by our CEO, the nearshore team lead and the designer of the case; an external expert very competent in managing product owners.
We expect you to be able to solve the case in approximately 2 hours, but we will make sure that the case is open for 3 days, so you have the flexibility to solve it whenever it fits in your schedule.
After the case, we will invite 5-10 candidates to take a Talent Test (TT38). This is an assessment of your behavioural and psychosocial strengths. You will receive a report on your test.
