Hey, we're Shield - stats and analytics for LinkedIn, Software-as-a-Service 👋 We're looking for an excellent video producer/editor intern to help ideate, shoot and edit a bunch of video content to be distributed across our digital channels. The purpose of the role is to bring more video to our brand to generate awareness and trust as only video can do.
We're a Copenhagen based tech startup with a small, tight-knit multinational team and a diverse mix of backgrounds. We help companies empower their employees to become brand ambassadors on LinkedIn, and we help professionals build and grow personal brands. We do this through a commercial dashboard solution, bringing stats and analytics to LinkedIn through Software-as-a-Service.
You live in Copenhagen. And you likely study here. Something related to video and media production, etc., would make a lot of sense, but we are open-minded. You can be self taught, solely driven by passion. Great if you're interested in tech and startups too. You are operational, well organized, detail oriented and know how to make a project move forward.
The video camera is your weapon of choice and the record button is a good friend of yours. You're a natural when it come to quickly setting up a shot on-the-go, asking great questions and making people in front of the camera to say and do valuable things.
Ps. We have a Black Magic Pocket Cinema 4K camera at your disposal. Our equipment should be very sufficient to get high quality recordings.
We are a small team of 10 people with a recognized, global brand in our niche. We wish to grow this brand and build more trust with our community through video. We imagine that you have worked with video before, and therefore know what constitutes good video content. And you help us create it.
We have a funky urban office with grafitti on the walls and colored lights. We have an amazing Copenhagen backyard and the multicultural Nørrebrogade right outside our door.
As such, we have an opportunity to talk to really interesting and relevant people about their journeys and how LinkedIn has played a pivotal role for them.
Needless to say, launching, maintaining and growing a podcast is no easy feat. It requires a dedicated effort - and time. As such, we need help.
Our CEO, Andreas, will be interviewing the guests, and we will leverage his personal brand to get the best of the best on our show. Running everything behind the scenes is where you come in.
To get the idea of what that means, here's a list from our friends at Sweet Fish Media, describing all the activities involved in launching and running a podcast: https://sweetfishmedia.com/podcasting-for-business/
Your job will effectively be to coordinate this podcast project and make sure it moves forward, leaving the interviews to be done by our CEO, and creative visuals to be done by our creative team.
If you're super amazing, which we believe you will be, you also write the marketing copy, show notes, and plan distribution and promotion too.
