We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join Swappie’s Supply team to help us take over the European mobile device supply. Swappie is building a marketplace for refurbished smartphones bringing the circular smartphone economy to the masses and enabling everyone to consume electronics more sustainably.

Our Supply team of eight people is in charge of driving growth through a scalable and defendable supplier base. The strength of that base is determined by the business relationships and market intelligence in the team.

Working as a Business Development Manager is all about achieving business objectives by discovering, opening and nurturing new supply channels and partner relationships. In this position you look for new potential suppliers and qualify them to determine if they are a fit for our portfolio and to ensure long-term profitability. You own the relationship from the beginning until the end, make connections and establish relationships and networks across the mobile industry. In addition you help to develop the criteria for good suppliers and draft the long-term supply strategy as a part of the team.

WE WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE

• About 3 years of relevant work experience in either business development, strategic B2B sales or from purchasing management

• International working experience 

• Native level fluency in English and in some other language (excluding Finnish)

• Experience from the telecommunications field is considered as an advantage

You will enjoy working in this role if you are creative and goal-driven and like to find new business opportunities. You love working across teams and partner organizations, building relationships and spending time with world class colleagues.
