ParkShare is a fast growing startup in need of a Brand Management, Social Media and Communication Intern who can help us strengthen our brand and become part of our journey. We are looking for an open-minded intern with a curiosity to learn. As an intern at ParkShare you will be engaged and connected with our many different kinds of customers through social media. Working in a startup can be both challenging and thrilling as things are moving quickly. At the same time, you get to share the passion, motivation and optimism that comes from creating and enhancing a brand strategy with your colleagues. In ParkShare, we strongly believe in everyone contributing and having ideas with value. Therefore, you can expect that the ideas you have and the content you create will be used for our online platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and our website).

ParkShare is a sharing economy platform for parking spaces, where private people as well as companies, can rent out their parking spaces when they don’t need it and thereby earn an extra income. At the same time, the parking spaces become more easily accessible for drivers, who need parking. The SoMe team is therefore essential in ParkShare as they connect with our customers to create and strengthen the relationship, we have with them.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Creating content for ParkShare’s Social Media and possibly website as well. This includes creating a content plan, taking and editing pictures and videos as well as writing the posts.

• Collecting and analysing data from Social Media.

• Developing and improving the ParkShare brand and marketing strategy in collaboration with the CEO and the rest of the SoMe team.

• Doing market research in collaboration with the SoMe team.

Qualifications and skills:

• Independent and good social skills. The SoMe team works closely together but many tasks are also done individually so it’s important that you thrive in these conditions.

• Fluency in both written and spoken English. Especially good writing skills are important as you will be responsible for a lot of the written content.

• Basic experience in using Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.

• Basic camera skills as well as photo and video post-editing skills.

• The SoMe team is also responsible for translating content from Danish to English and vice versa, so Danish fluency is an advantage but not necessarily needed for the position.

• Studying Marketing, Communication or something similar. It doesn’t matter if you come from a university, VIA, or any other business academy, as long as you are a student looking for an internship.

• Living in Denmark as the office is in Aarhus and the internship will take place here.

We are located in The Kitchen in Aarhus, which is the city’s biggest community for entrepreneurs, where we work alongside with many other amazing startups. It’s an international and diverse workplace, where knowledge-sharing, networking and fun is an essential part of work life. Every Friday we have a joint breakfast with the other startups from ‘The Kitchen’ to catch up and hygge together. Teamwork and team spirit are also very important in ParkShare. Therefore, we have at least one social activity every month, where we spend a couple of hours to have fun with games, hygge and snacks.  We believe, this makes us a stronger and more connected team.

Working hours are generally from 8-16 o’clock, but we are flexible in terms of hours per week and will adjust it to your study program’s schedule. This also means that if you already have a student job, we will work with you to find a schedule that fits it all.
