To continue to fuel Swappie’s strong growth path and enable further expansion, we are now looking for a Senior Pricing Analyst to join our ambitious team in Helsinki. This is a rare opportunity to impact the foundations of pricing in an exciting and rapidly growing company. The role is totally new at Swappie and was created due to high growth.

Swappie is building a marketplace for refurbished smartphones bringing the circular smartphone economy to the masses and enabling everyone to consume electronics more sustainably.

The pricing of refurbished products provides an intriguing challenge as the supply fluctuates on the second hand market and it needs to be matched with demand that is growing extremely fast. Thus, finding the optimal pricing strategies will be in a key role when aiming towards Swappie’s main vision. So join us if you’re up for the challenge!

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

• Evaluating current pricing strategies and analysing how they could be improved

• Delivering analysis and pricing recommendations to support day-to-day pricing actions

• Exploring, building and implementing new analytical tools and analysis to better support pricing decisions 

• Contributing to building a roadmap of key technical and process improvements required to advance the pricing function at Swappie

The main purpose of our pricing function is to deliver strategically accurate and profitable pricing recommendations to support our growth. As the first dedicated pricing analyst in the company you will have a key role in defining and developing the pricing practises, strategies and tools.

WE WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE

• In minimum 2-3 years of work experience in data-driven product pricing analytics, preferably in a consumer business 

• Excellent analytical skills which include strong proficiency with spreadsheets and basics in either of SQL or some scripting language (e.g. Python or R)

• A good knowledge of working with data visualizations and preferably with some BI tools as well (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, Data Studio, Looker)

• A strong business-mindset and understanding of strategic impacts of pricing
