We are building a really cool pricing software, combining rule-based pricing with AI, and now we are seeking a Solution Developer to support our implementations and customer-specific developments of our pricing software. At Price Edge, you would have an exciting and unbounded role, which includes working and learning at the same time.

What we offer and who we are looking for

In this role, you will be a part of the team that manages and runs our software implementations. This means working closely with our customers to create and maintain pricing strategies in our pricing solution, PriceEdge, and make sure the data needed flows in and out. You will also develop new pricing functionality (using T-SQL) to expand our software pricing capabilities when required.

We are primarily looking for hardworking energetic engineers that can work from our office in Bucharest but are also open for a remote setup if the candidate is the right one.

You should be well-versed in working directly with clients as well as MS SQL, and have a solid baseline understanding of best practices and design patterns therein.

Skills & Requirements

As a Solution Developer at Price Edge you will do the following:

• Lead the technical aspects of projects and support multiple customers

• Design and configure the PriceEdge solution according to customer requirements

• Assist with gathering and formalizing customer requirements as user stories

• Lead the configuration of the PriceEdge solution, using SQL and system UI

• Manage PriceEdge colleagues and partners on the assigned projects

• Work with PriceEdge Support developers to resolve technical issues

• Analyze and define the requirements for the integration of data from/to customer’s other IT systems

• Lead testing and quality assurance efforts of newly delivered and changed functionality

We are looking for people that:

• Have knowledge of SQL programming

• Experience of enterprise software implementation projects

• Experience in pricing is a plus

• Since you will be working with international customers and colleagues, your English language skills are of high importance

• Experience with Agile project management tools (we use Jira)

• Ability to communicate with customers in-person, on conference calls, and through email
