We are building a really cool pricing software, combining rule-based pricing with AI, and now we are seeking a Full-stack developer to support our software development and customer deployments for our data-driven products. At Price Edge, you would have an exciting and unbounded role, which includes working and learning at the same time.

What we offer and who we are looking for

In this role, you will be a part of the team that manages our "Price" and "Analyze" products. This means working closely with our CTO to create and maintain solutions for crunching large amounts of data that are used both for our reports and by the rule-based pricing engine. You will have to think both big, in terms of the overall architecture, and small, in terms of low-level optimizations, to deliver solutions that are reusable, and match the performance required by our customers.

We are primarily looking for a driven engineer that wants to take on a future team leadership role and that can work from our office in Bucharest but are also open for a remote setup if the candidate is the right one.

The stack you will be working on in this role: – Our "Price" & "Analyze" backend runs on MS SQL and on the front-end application is built using React – Our infrastructure is currently being migrated from AWS to Azure

Skills & Requirements

To be successful as a Full-stack developer at Price Edge you need the following traits:

• You are pragmatic and easy-going, with a minimum viable product mindset and is comfortable with constant iterations

• You are able to work independently. We will give you a lot of freedom to plan your own day, and you need to be able to work efficiently without too much guidance

• Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in SaaS software development and maintenance

• Since you will be working with international customers and colleagues, your English language skills are of high importance

• You have a great understanding of the fundamental design principles behind a scalable application

• Experience with dynamic codebases, high-performance SQL programming, and data pipelines

• Significant experience with React

• Experience of working on Azure would be a plus
