“I was lucky to get a job at AC before I moved to Norway in 2017 initially as Program manager then Director. As a non-native it was important to me to establish a network and build a community. AC proved to be an absolute catalyst in that process, through my running programs around the country I quickly built up a network and established myself as a valuable member and contributor to the Norwegian ecosystem - which is exactly the role AC plays here. Also. given the fact that both founders are also married, gives AC a very unique family feeling, and proved so valuable to me in the time I worked there. When I decided to leave to set up my own company, very much helped by my journey and learnings from both Maja and Knut along with my colleagues, I decided to even base my new company in Startup Campus - which should tell you everything!” - Mathew Smith
