Do you want to work for a fast growing, international company? Do you want to work with a team of motivated, talented people who love what they do? Do you want to make an impact that’s bigger than a number on a spreadsheet? Do you hate the idea of just being one more small cog in a giant corporate machine? Do you want to work for a company that truly values work / life balance and personal growth? Then keep reading...
You’ll be working in our Copenhagen office, located in Nordhavn as part of a tightly-knit team of 8. We’ve recently moved into our new office which we’re renovating into an awesome space where we can work and chill. The cool waters of Nordhavn are a few minutes away for a lunch time summer swim (or you can join the real vikings in our office for their daily winter dip). We also have a steam bath in the office to get you warm afterwards!
We keep a startup-like mindset and atmosphere with a strong emphasis on a positive work-life balance. This includes flexibility in working hours, healthy lunches, monthly enrichment sessions where we all go and try something new (think wakeboarding, rock climbing, clay shooting - whatever you want really)!
Our culture is based on mutual respect, a flat hierarchy and full transparency across the business. We value each individual’s opinion and there’s also a strong focus on personal growth. We’re always happy to invest in your education so you can grow with the company.
A note about COVID-19: We’re well aware that many individuals and businesses are struggling in these difficult times. We want to reassure you that we’re a stable, growing company with a huge focus on job security. Since our founding 7 years ago, we’ve grown many times over, every year - even through this year’s health crisis. In fact, that’s exactly why we’re hiring for this role. To keep up with our growth - and we want YOU to be part of it!
We’re looking for someone to take a key role in the marketing team. You would have full ownership of all top funnel marketing efforts. In short, your job would be to get as much high quality traffic coming to our sites. So far our biggest lead generation channel has been SEO so we would expect that would be one of your major focuses. But naturally we’re always excited to explore other channels.
We work using an Agile framework on the team, so we focus on quick delivery, rapid testing and continuous improvement. We also aim to have everyone on the team with at least one primary area of expertise, and one secondary area they can assist others in. This is something that we’d be happy to support you in whether it’s in-house training or external education.
It’s also important to know that we see this role transitioning into one with greater responsibility so we’re really looking for someone with leadership / management potential.
Coming up with the overall strategy for lead generation together with the Head of Marketing.
Keyword research to suggest content for our 2 in-house writers (based in Lima, Peru).
SEO optimization of articles - part of this will be about teaching our writers so they can ensure all their articles are optimized themselves.
Tracking our keyword rankings and ensuring we’re always actively working to improve them.
Writing SEO focused landing pages.
Initiating and testing a range of new strategies such as backlinking, partnerships, etc.
Providing monthly reports on traffic and rankings to the rest of the business.
You’re fluent in English. We’re an international company and we operate in English.
You have an excellent understanding of SEO, both technical and when it comes to content strategy.
Words come to you naturally and you’re a confident, clear and succinct writer.
Naturally we want you to be a self-motivated, proactive team player.
We don’t expect you to have a million years of experience or 12 PhDs in various fields - but we need someone with experience in top funnel marketing and knows their stuff through hands-on experience.
Management and leadership qualities - we want someone who can grow to take on a bigger role within the business and build out a team to support them.
A competitive salary plus pension
Monthly enrichment sessions to learn new skills
Visits to our other offices in Indonesia, Peru and Ukraine
An awesome office near the water (plus steam bath)
Healthy lunches (plus the occasional unhealthy takeaway)
Perfect crema from our espresso machine
A supportive team of people who actually enjoy what they do
Flexibility in when and where you work
Investment in your personal growth
