Graduateland anno 2020 Graduateland is the preferred career network for students and graduates across Europe. You know this because you're probably reading this job post on one of our portals (if not, then click on to Graduateland and find the job there).
We are market leaders in the Nordics, operating all official university career portals in Denmark, 10 university portals in Sweden, and a few in Norway. Secondly we have a number of partnerships across Europe, making us truly international.
We are at the forefront of how recruitment is evolving - our core product is our plug'n'play job portal for university partners, but we see that real-time engagement is exploding right now!
Universities all over Europe are excited about our whitelabel virtual career fair platform and we're leveraging this new desire [need!] to digitise recruitment and event execution.
Thus, we're betting a lot on our proprietary virtual career fairs, which we have been hosting for a few years. Companies all over Europe participate in these online events, and +25.000 students have joined a VCF since we started.
The last couple of months we have been successful in selling virtual events to top universities all over Europe; UK, Ireland, all of Scandinavia, Germany, Belgium, Portugal... We are spinning out a new stand-alone product, and we need to build the brand, create a narrative, create the content, get happy clients to give testimonials, launch the site, and distribute to future university partners.
Are you ready for this as first task?
We imagine that you have a T-shaped marketing profile.... What does this mean? You gotta have a broad experience with a variety of marketing activities but you have to have min ONE hardcore speciality... content marketing, brand building, product marketing... please elaborate on where you are VERY strong, and from where you have this experience.
The role There are a few areas that you will be involved with:
Focussing on the Whitelabel Virtual Career Fair product: Brand building and story telling, creating the strategy and executing it.
B2C user acquisition: Prioritise different strategies in order to maximise the activity from candidates in a healthy mix of new user acquisition and reactivation of existing users. Define the marketing mix, channels, and execute.
Work closely with our University Team and get close to students from our partner universities. How can we maximise value from 30+ official university partnerships?
Preferred skills It goes without saying that you need to be proactive, take responsibility, and able to apply a holistic perspective to our marketing efforts. We are looking for someone with proven experience within one or more of the marketing disciplines e.g.:
Content marketing (text, video, podcasts...?)
Digital marketing (paid, owned, earned)
SEO
Creatives and performance campaigns via SoMe
Growth hacking
etc etc (surprise us!)
Scandinavian language skills are a huge plus as the Nordics is our home market. Flawless English is a necessity.
The Team You need to be able to work individually, though in the nexus of our University Relations team, the Sales team, our Sales Enablement team (where B2B marketing happens), and the Product & Tech team.
