Swappie is the fastest growing B2C-startup in Helsinki, growing from 65 to 300 employees during the past year (5/2019 to 6/2020). We are building an end-to-end marketplace for refurbished smartphones. We’re currently in hyper growth mode and expanding our operations across Europe, bringing the circular smartphone economy to the masses. We are looking for a highly motivated and data-driven Business Controller to support our business operations.

You will be supporting us to continue our hyper growth mode and speed up new country openings as well as develop our internal reporting and business metrics. This is a great opportunity to develop business controlling practices and metrics working closely with the business. It's a versatile role where you get to make an impact and challenge yourself.

What you will work on:

• Various business controlling tasks at the core of our finance function, including e.g. country level business controlling responsibilities and/or functional area business controlling

• Working closely with business operations supporting selected teams and/or business directors

• Analyzing and developing reports, KPIs and dashboards to track and visualize performance

• Building structure where we are lacking it

• Identifying key areas for improvement, for your role and the business

Who you are:

• You have three years of experience in minimum from business controlling duties

• You have strong financial and/or accounting know-how

• You have superior Excel skills and understanding of BI tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau or Qlik)

• Analytical and business driven financial expert with a can-do attitude and ability to think critically

• Fluent in spoken and written English, Finnish skills are considered as a plus

• Experience from fast-paced business environments or working with growth companies is considered as a plusLocation: Helsinki, Finland (Ruoholahti)
