We are looking for a Senior iOS Developer who is excited about working on products in a rapidly evolving market for our customers, somebody who is excited about helping our engineering team evolve with industry best practices and somebody who likes working in a fast-paced collaborative environment that focuses on delivering product feature sets.

Planday is looking for a skilled Senior iOS Developer. You will join an international, skilled, cross-functional and self-driven product team that includes developers, designers and product managers.

We are looking for engineers who enjoy engaging with customers and partners directly to help them be successful, and to build the tools that helps them use our platform with ease.

Purpose and accountabilities:

• Contribute in discovering and delivering new features within scope.

• Lead by example within the team by producing simple, extensible, and maintainable code.

• Draft consistent, maintainable unit and functional tests to help monitor system quality.

• Continually optimize existing systems for a better customer experience.

• Identify performance and stability issues and guide team toward improvement.

• Create processes to surface performance and stability issues in production and contribute in solving them.

• Maintain and improve our continuous integration pipelines.

Success Measures:

• Deliver high quality code, where concerns are clearly separated.

• Proactive communication with different domain teams.

• Improve code testability and unit test coverage.

• Re-engineer legacy code in an incremental, safe methodology.

• Contribute in achieving department goals.

• Support junior developers.

Requirements

• Proficient with Objective C and Swift.

• Strong experience with reactive programming (RxSwift).

• Strong grasp for common architectural patterns (MVVM).

• Experience in setting up advanced CI tools.

• Talent for cleanly architecting UI features.

• Curious at heart, proactive and a developed sense of ownership.

• Experience with handling large scale refactoring / improving legacy code.

• Excellent knowledge in how to split work into small increments and prioritization.
