Swappie is the fastest growing B2C-startup in Helsinki, growing from 65 to 300 employees during the past year. We are building an end-to-end marketplace for refurbished smartphones. We are now looking for a Legal Counsel to support business operations in a fast paced company. You will support us to continue our hyper growth mode and speed up numerous new country openings as well as to set-up in-house legal capabilities. This is a versatile role in an extremely interesting legal environment.

What you will work on

• Various legal tasks and related challenges - there will be numerous different challenges requiring both hands on approach and superior management of external legal service providers around the world

• Closely with different business operations - You will support our Expansion team in penetration to new market areas, but also work closely with different other business operations such as supply, production, HR and finance in expanding our operations across Europe

• The development of compliance related matters and set-up in-house legal capabilities

Who you are

• You have 3 - 4 years of relevant legal experience in minimum

• You have experience from fast-paced business environments or working with growth companies as well acting with and advising of business management. Experience from consumer business is considered as a plus.

• Versatile legal experience from contract and commercial law, competition and company law know-how are considered as a plus

• Business driven legal expert with a can-do attitude and ability to think critically

• You have relevant knowledge on GDPR

• Fluency in English, Finnish language skills are considered as a plus
