Swappie is building a marketplace for refurbished smartphones that makes buying and selling pre-owned electronics easy and safe. We're now expanding internationally and soon taking over Germany. That's why we are now looking for a German speaking Customer Success Specialist to join our team at our Helsinki office. You would be among the first German customer service agents.

In this role your tasks would include customer service via chats and phone and developing our customer service experience further with your effort.  This is a unique opportunity to develop our customer experience in Germany - from the very beginning. So, be ready for constant change and improvement!

What you will work on

• Answer customer tickets via phone, chat and other platforms

• Partner with our production team to troubleshoot German-specific cases, escalating issues when necessary

• Interface with our product and engineering team, reporting bugs and ensuring that customers have a clear way to navigate across our website

• Comment on Germany-specific texts, identifying areas for improvement.

Who you are

• You have the ability to learn fast and adapt to fast paced startup environment

• You speak German fluently, your friends call you for proof-reading and you know the difference between “wieder” and “wider”

• You have great communication skills in English 

• You are detail oriented while able to prioritise your tasks in a fast pace environment

• You have a self-starter attitude

• You love working in a team environment but are also able to work on projects independently

• Previous experience in customer service in Germany is seen as a plus!

• Currently residing in Finland
