Startup Norway is looking for an Incubator Manager that will develop and manage Startup Norway Incubator Program this Fall 2020.

Startup Norway is an independent impact organization started in 2011 by passionate entrepreneurs, wanting to create a stronger and more inclusive startup community. 

We work to support the founders of Norway by developing services for founders, investors and the extended startup support system to increase the know-how in Norway on how to build companies.  We strive to influence, connect and educate the players of the startup scene, with the goal to make the environment for founders as smooth and supportive as it can possibly be.

Startup Norway has three daughter companies:

• Startup Extreme: A yearly startup festival in Norway - Voss gathering the core of the startup ecosystem in an environment combining networking and extreme sports. 

• Angel Challenge: A Startup Investment Program training investors how to invest in startups. Angel Challenge also invests in startups and has a portfolio of 20+ investments.

• Startup Campus: is an entrepreneurial playground, coworking and event space in the middle of Oslo city center. This is our 2500m^2 home, where we sit together with startups, investors and friends from the greater startup ecosystem.

In 2020 we count 15 full time employees working in the Startup Norway group of companies and projects. The team is international and diverse by nature, with English as the working language.

Startup Norway is looking for an Incubator Manager that will develop and manage Startup Norway Incubator Program this Fall 2020. 

As the Incubator Manager of Startup Norway

You will:

• develop the Incubator concept and offering, together with the Program Director

• manage the process of successfully recruiting new companies to the incubator

• be the main contact person for individuals and companies interested in being part of the Incubator

• work with the members, assisting them in access to competence and network and resources

• develop and implement initiatives & events for the members and to promote the incubator. 

You are:

• the best of both worlds: analytical and relational, strategic and hands-on, rational and emotional, purpose and profit-driven

• someone that understands the startup world and the problems founders face 

• great at creating real human relationships

• skilled from minimum 1-3 years of relevant work experience. 

• interested in entrepreneurship, innovation and the startup community 

• the kind of person who always thinks win-win and brings to the table the customer perspective.

• experienced with project management and / or team leadership

• a person with proficiency in English, orally and written. 

• ideally, a person with experience from working in a coworking space, incubator / accelerator, in a startup, or being part of a VC / Investment firm.
