The role
We are looking for a structured and talented Senior QA Automation Engineer who can spearhead our cross-team efforts to continuously deliver and improve quality in our products. In this role, you will be reporting directly to our Head of Engineering - Niels Rasmussen.
You will become an essential part of a mission to automate our development process by identifying, documenting, and testing critical flows and dependencies.
Your responsibilities will include defining quality standards and processes and help developers and QA engineers meet those standards.
As a person, you care about industry standards and best practices within quality assurance and you are able to contextualize these to take a starting point in our current set-up and to strive for ongoing improvement. You are motivated to share your knowledge to grow a quality-focused culture in Linkfires product development.

4 full-stack SCRUM teams
2 remote QA engineers
Ember.js and Vue.js front-end frameworks
Selenium Webdriver based WebdriverIO framework
Postman API test suite
Github as version control
TeamCity and Jenkins build servers
Responsibilities
Write and automate test cases for the front-end and back-end applications
Work with the teams to define test plans
Define the standards for automated testing
Promoting QA productivity through automation, tools, and other best practices
Identify, log, prioritize and track defects and accurately communicate them to the development team
Collaborate with the product teams to plan and facilitate releases with high confidence in the quality
Analyze and monitor defect metrics within releases, identify trends, and recommend test effectiveness measures and quality conclusions.
Requirements
5+ years of experience as a QA engineer, developer, or similar
Experience writing integration tests and doing cross-browser/device testing
Experience with Node.js based testing frameworks like WebdriverIO, CypressIO, or similar
A strong toolbox for establishing structures and processes
Passion for driving quality throughout the product life cycle
An outstanding understanding of technology and a passion for keeping up with industry standards
Excellent service skills with the ability to quickly build professional relationships
Fluency in written and spoken English
Experience with testing big data applications (performance and functional testing) is a plus
