We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Community and Social Lead who shares our passion in creating impact to cut down CO2. Having just launched our CO2HERO app in the market, you will be joining at the perfect time to drive the community and social strategy across key markets in Europe, starting with Denmark.

Join our movement to better everyone’s daily life with actionable, low-carbon solutions provided on our global digital platform. You will report directly to, and work closely with our Head of Marketing to bring to life our CO2HERO Marketing Strategy

You will be seen as the advocate, face and voice of the CO2HERO brand on our social and digital platforms - finding new ways to engage, grow and nurture our digital community at large. As part of a start up, your role will be diversified involving analytics, link building, search engine optimisation, email marketing, etc. allowing you to gain expertise in different fields of digital marketing.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

Strategy 20%

• Own and drive the creation, conception, and presentation of social media strategy and integrated marketing campaigns online.

• Collaborate with our digital marketing agency (Paid Social) leveraging output and feeding input to drive organic growth performance

• Communicate and coordinate with both internal and external teams to ensure our community strategy supports overall CO2HERO growth goals and objectives.

Execution 60% (Research, Listen, Publish, Report and Moderate) 

• Conduct ongoing research on industry-related trends, hot topics and latest developments, in order to provide our community with eye-catching content.

• Listen to users to shape future messages and content for the app.

• Create and maintain the content calendar and post relevant content in accordance with this.

• Plan, distribute and push out news, stories and articles to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn and (numerically) analyze their impact

• Respond to comments and questions in order to foster a positive community and add value to the user’s experience

• Review user generated comments/posts in a quick and timely manner and escalate, where appropriate, to the team

• Summarise insights and conversations to create actionable recommendations driving user growth - keeping management informed on a regular basis

Growth 20% 

• Growing the CO2HERO community by participating in discussions, finding new fans/followers/users and listening to the current ones

• Leverage the community on the social platforms to build, support and complement the CO2HERO community on the app itself

• Report on topical areas and themes successful in recruiting and growing user communities

  
  

Personal Skills and Qualifications

• Master’s degree (or other credentials) in international communication or similar

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience developing and implementing tactical plans that build and nurture online communities - preferably from an international company, climate focused brand, App developer and/or start ups

• Excellent communication and creative writing skills in both English and Danish (fluent in both) to engage users and instigate conversation digitally

• Digital savviness and ability to keep up with the complexity of each social network platform

• Structured, organised, focused on detail and analytical to establish metrics, glean community insights and report/recommend strategies that achieve marketing goals

• Proficiency using Facebook Manager, Google Campaign/Ads, Hootsuite, Google Data Studio and other social media monitoring tools

• Worked with Active Campaign and carried out email marketing initiatives

• Self-initiator who loves to operate and maximize the output in a clearly defined playground

• The art of team work and cooperation with your colleagues is crucial
