At LYS Technologies, we want to hire people with the experience necessary to get going quickly and who are comfortable working in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate is a strong programmer across all stages of the app life cycle, from ideation through to development, testing, launch and maintenance. Experience in connected devices is a plus since our data is collected by our purpose-built Bluetooth enabled hardware.

• Work in a team of developers, data scientists and designers to build our core platform

• Take ownership of your project by designing, building, maintaining and iterating new features and new products

• Create and maintain an overview of tasks at hand and provide estimates to stakeholders.

• Iterate and optimise products based on feedback and data analytics

  
  

Requirements

Here are some of the things we think will be valuable, but we're also open-minded. If you recognise yourself in any of these then we’d love to hear from you.

• 3+ years’ experience working in an app development role

• Has released at least 1 app on the App Store

• Strong experience with Swift

• Experienced in Managing Projects including all stakeholders

• Experience with or interest in learning about backend and DevOps

• Ability to work independently and to take ownership of the product 

• Experience with UX and/or UI Design is a plus

• Experience in Connected Devices (Bluetooth enabled) is a plus

• Experience in graphics programming is a plus

• Knowledge of unit and functional testing

• Exposure to other languages and platforms
