At Katapult Ocean we invest in and help grow startups with a positive impact on our oceans.

We do this through the Katapult Ocean accelerator program and by generating positive awareness around the great business opportunities in sustainable ocean tech.

At Katapult Ocean we have made 32 investments in exciting ocean tech companies from all over the world. We have built a platform to push the green shift in the ocean industries, and work with corporates and investors to encourage more investment, piloting, and engagement with ocean startups. We have a global network of more than 100 mentors supporting the startups in the accelerator.

Since Katapult Ocean was founded in April 2018, we have become a leading force in ocean technology impact investments. We are part of the accelerator network of the UN Global Compact Action Platform for Sustainable Ocean Business, and we have been invited to sit on the Norwegian Prime Ministers advisory network for the High-Level Panel for a Sustainable Ocean Economy.

The role:

Katapult Ocean is now beginning to scout for start-ups to take part in the fourth round of the Katapult Ocean Accelerator program, which will feature 10-15 exciting ocean tech start-ups. We strive to attract and invest in the best, high potential, high impact companies operating in the ocean space globally. To achieve this, we are looking for talented, driven, and passionate startup scouts to support the investment team in deal sourcing and pipeline development.

We are looking for start-up scouts to be a part of the Katapult Ocean team between October and January, with the possibility of extension. Scouts will have regional sourcing responsibilities - and will work together to find the best companies globally for early venture funding and participation in our program. This is the ideal position for individuals looking to gain insight and experience in the venture capital space.

We can offer both part-time and full-time positions depending on availability and fit.
