ROLE PEOPLE OPERATIONS STUDENT ASSISTANT
TEAM PEOPLE OPERATIONS
HOURS 15-20 HRS./WEEK
LOCATION COPENHAGEN
START DATE FEBRUARY 1ST
In the People Operations team we are designing our organization to grow our people. To make that happen we have a broad spectrum of responsibilities spanning from leadership- and employee development to recruitment and running payroll. We pay ongoing attention to creating a work environment where people feel inspired and safe – meaning that we are here to support, develop, and grow the whole business. We are a small and tight-knit team but with growth comes change, and we need you to help us facilitate it.
As our People Operations Admin person your main responsibilities will consist of operational tasks to support our Copenhagen office. We see it as crucial to have a person dedicated to this field due to the ever-growing needs of internal and external stakeholders. We are an international organization, which begs the need for someone who knows and understands Danish legal system and can act as a contact person for questions regarding employment law. This means that you should have a professional proficiency in the Danish language.
Your main responsibilities will consist of:
Running our payroll in Pento for the Copenhagen office.
Visa processes, reimbursement processes (maternity leave, sickness absence etc.)
Contact person for our company pension and health insurance.
Creation and maintenance of employee contracts and addendums.
Updating employee-data and legal documents.
Running ad-hoc admin tasks and handling questions/requests from the company.
In order to be successful in this role we imagine that you live up to following description:
You are studying on at least your 2nd semester in an HR/legal education program OR possess work experience from the bullets listed above.
You are up to date with the current legislation within employment law.
You are proficient in excel and can handle data-sheets with precision.
Experience tells us that you will have many tasks on your desks simultaneously, and they are all super important! Therefore, we believe it takes excellent structure and planning skills to succeed.
As a student, we understand that you have other things going on apart from us, and we want to accommodate that. While we expect you to be present in the office 2-3 days a week, you are free to choose when that is, so long as you keep your calendar updated.
Intrigued? At SOUNDBOKS you’ll find yourself a part of a celebrative community. We realize that growth is a process and we don’t expect you to go through it alone. Actually, we guarantee that you won’t have to. We work together in order to work smarter, we inspire each other to be better, and we never forget that every member of the team is responsible for our success.
So, if you’re tired of all of the noise in the job market, we’d love to hear from you. This may be the coolest job you ever have.
While it was tempting to write a novel here, we tried to keep it short. Instead, you’re welcome to contact Frederik Sassi if you have any questions about the position or us in general. He lives on LinkedIn but can also be reached on +45 31 55 15 76.
