We are currently seeking a passionate Senior Frontend Developer to take on the role of Team Lead of one of our full-stack development teams. Each of our scrum teams is in charge of their own products and consists of dedicated frontend developers, backend developers, design and UX.

You will report to the Head of Engineering - Niels Rasmussen.

The front-end stack for all our consumer-facing work is a healthy mix of SASS, Vue.js, vanilla JS and back-end generated markup. All our choices are made in the spirit of performance and maintainability.

You will get the chance to take one of the front seats in shaping our products and your work has direct exposure and impact to the millions of fans that we route every month.

What you’ll do as:

Team Lead

• Ensure the personal development of the team through individual 1:1 conversations, learning & skill development and uphold our scrum processes.

• Support the recruitment of new employees and drive onboarding in collaboration with the HR department.

• Operational management of the development team on a daily basis, act as the administrative contact point.

Senior Frontend Developer

• Prioritize, estimate and align work in close collaboration with the Product Owner.

• Lead and implement quality standards for code, testing, and documentation together with the Head of Engineering.

• Be a thought-leader by staying updated and sharing knowledge in the field of front-end development.  

Your abilities and skills:

• Proven leadership skills and an excellent team player.

• Comfortable with working in an international environment and fluent in English.

• Familiar with the scrum framework.

• +7 years of frontend development experience.

• Fluent with JavaScript SASS, HTML5, and Vue.js or other similar frameworks.

• Experience with build frameworks such as webpac.

• Deep knowledge of Git and Github.

• Experience consuming and publishing packages in NPM or similar.

• Experience with CI systems such as Team City of Jenkins is a plus.

• Detail-oriented and organized in writing documentation.
