JABii is a hybrid digital and physical fighting game that combines physical activity with digital elements through sensors. We are looking for a passionate backend developer who can help us develop a unique state of the art interactive experience. The device will be part of a larger gaming universe with rankings, tournaments and a community, so you'll also be working on continuous add-ons, utilising the in-built sensors as we create the future of interactive gaming.

Who we are looking for

Ideally, you’re ambitious, goal oriented, proactive and persistent, while still understanding the importance of lifting together as a team. As you’ll be a key player in our organisation, it is crucial that you have 2+ years of experience from similar areas of work and that you have the right technical skills, but more importantly the right attitude. You should be flexible, have a startup mentality and bring good ideas to the table so we can get even further together.

As a back-end developer, you will work with our team of software and firmware developers. Your task will be helping with building the foundation for the backend of our app so we can bring all the game data online (User profiles, users stats, game stats etc.), that will be a companion to our physical product.
