Are you looking for an internship where you will have the ability to advance your technical skills in a creative, informal and flexible start-up company? We are looking for a digital design intern with flair for creativity and aesthetics combined with skills within building websites and digital platforms. We are a small startup company and you will therefore get responsibility right from start, but not more than you can handle.

As an intern at MicroChange, you will be part of a passionate, driven and ambitious team. We offer you guidance and support, in the same way we aspire to support each other. We will help you grow your technical skills, as you get freedom in performing your tasks – letting you chase what you would love to work with and designing some of your own projects.

Your internship will be expected to start in 2020 and will be adjusted to the requirements of your education and ECTS-points. In your oboarding period, you will be introduced to our business and meet all of us. We are located in Svendborg, but we are flexible in the sense that you can take days working from home, and have meetings in Odense.

As an intern at MicroChange you will:

• Design and build our web page

• Set up performance testing (split test, SEO, load times)

• Design elements of our system to fit the brand of a client

• Fix issues relating to our web page and digital elements

Among other things, you will:

• Work closely with the design team in developing a consistent brand identity on our web page

• Build reusable templates and image assets in Xtreme Pro

• Creatively think how to create visuals than stands out

Skills needed:

• Understanding of HTML and CSS, Javascript is a plus

• A master of WordPress  

• UI/UX knowledge 

• Ability to set-up systems and do performance testing

• Some graphic know-how 

How would we describe you?

You are a happy soul with an eye for details. You are in the middle of a relevant design education, and you are comfortable working independently. Must importantly, you like to advance your technical skills and digital know-how - and are not afraid to just try out ideas. Actually, you would love the freedom in designing your own tasks and seeing them though.
