The Job
As a Community Intern you will be joining our E-commerce team and be working with all aspects of communication/PR and the Customer Experience universe of our Japan crowdfunding campaign.
Your responsibilities will be:
Optimise our crowdfunding campaign for the region and language. Ensure the new content is understandable and culturally relevant to the Japanese backers, prospects and business associates.
Communicate effectively across linguistic and cultural boundaries, acting as a bridge between the Japanese online community and our organisational team.
Work in collaboration with the e-commerce department to ensure the content shared is in line with the planned strategies, as well as with the brand identity.
Develop a strategy for the online community by listening to its needs and finding ways to meet them.
Answer questions, comments, and customer queries in a timely manner.
Monitor customer feedback in order to route issues efficiently to the appropriate department.
TASKS in a nutshell:
Creation and management of content.
Translating ads.
Tracking and reporting on feedback and online reviews.
Building relationships and following through with prospect customers and industry professionals.
Translate the japanese buying habits and brand engagement.
Your skills and qualifications:
Japanese native level (written, read, spoken) is required.
Understanding of Japanese work culture and business ethics.
Full proficiency in English is a must, primarily for internal communication.
A BSc. or higher in Business Communication, Marketing, Language Studies or related.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to demonstrate empathy and communicate with people in a way that reflects the brand’s values and identity.
Customer orientation and ability to adapt to different types of characters.
Ability to manage a fast-paced workload.

What we offer
The internship is unpaid. We offer a project-based agreement for a duration of 3 to 5 months. Working hours are flexible. Programme can be adjusted according to the needs and preferences of our candidate.
